  1. Its a bit shameful that the Pope had no such objection https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cpvvyxr79glo
  2. Keep It Greasy — Frank Zappa
  3. Hot, Funky, and Sweaty — The Soul Lifters
  4. Underpants — John Foxx
  5. The arrangement of the tuners looks familiar.
  6. Fender used to make one called the urban short scale gig bag. I have a pair of them which I use with my JMJ mustangs. They're not particularly heavy duty but for any gig/rehearsal where I can put my basses on the back seat of my car, they're perfect. The grab handle on the front is a great convenience when you have a bunch of bits & pieces to carry for load in/out.
  7. Trumpin' Jack Flash — Rolling Stones
  8. Only if you like the top of the headstock sticking out the top
  9. I have ditched the few remaining third party plugins I had been using in Logic. I have even stopped using amplitube SVX / SVX2 for bass amp emulation in favour of logic's built-in bass amps.
  10. Does anyone here use Routenote? I uploaded some new albums for different projects I am involved with and they went into the 'in review' list. Two weeks later they are still listed as being in review even though the page had stated that it could take up to seven days. I've opened a support ticket, but that is still unanswered 24 hours later. I don't remember it being this slow last time I added something. Is it always like this these days?
  11. Sitting On The Dock Of The Bagel — Otis Redding
  12. If they’re basses rather than guitars, I would take/send them to the Bass Gallery in Camden for them to sell on commission — the 15% cut they take is fair and the 85% you keep will be a lot more than any shop would give you in a straight sale.
  13. After Dusk — Izabella Khalo
  14. Kiss On My Liszt — Daryl Hall & John Oats
  15. Same Old Bullsh1t — Puss N Boots
  16. if you have the magazine and the bass is distinctive enough - ie it has a distinctive grain pattern that is visible in the photo, it might serve as proof, but a letter from Geoff or Cliff with details would add more weight to the proof
  17. From A Buick Six — Bob Dylan
  18. I don't care, I won't be there — might be amusing to get this played though
  19. When I had a jazz bass I changed the pickguard from white to tort to black, and for some time I played it without a pickguard. I would probably do the same again if I ever got another one as changing the pickguard is so easy on a jazz. If I buy a secondhand one and a previous owner had hacked up the pickup cavity, it would pee me off a lot, and if this was disclosed before the sale (as it should be) I wouldn't buy it.
  20. Rock The Boat — Hues Corporation
  21. Trans-Europe Express — Kraftwerk
  22. Lipstick Traces — The O'Jays
  23. I only have a top one, My Ashdown ABM600 Evo-IV. Other amps I've owned were okay but they don't come close. I was fortunate enough to buy it as 'ex-display B-Stock' for £300 from PMT a couple of years ago which was a pretty good deal.
  24. I use mine nearly every day. I've had a other similarly sized practice amps which had rather an uninspiring tone, but the bass cube RX actually sounds like a proper amp. The fliptop emulation is my favourite.
