  1. The Govt. Knows — KNOWER
  2. I love mine as well. Easily the best amp I've played through.
  3. Smash It Up — The Damned
  4. Mother In Law — Ernie K Doe
  5. Frankie's Gun — The Felice Brothers
  6. Unlike my vintera mustang, the JMJs make it easy to adjust the truss rod as there is a perfectly sized cutout in both the body and the pickguard. The stewmac tele trussrod tool is perfect for this, no need to take the pickguard or neck off.
  7. In a previous band we played O.V. Wright's 'Eight Men and Four Women.' During the break between sets, one punter felt the need to come up to the singer and tell him it made him want to slash his wrists. We dropped it from the setlist for the next gig.
  8. Before shielding there was noise that came & went as I moved the bass about pointing the headstock in different directions, not much, but it was there. After shielding, the noise was no longer present.
  9. You didn't have to take the neck off the original 50s/60s ones either — they didn't have a truss rod so you had to make do with it how it was.
  10. Hooker With A Peñis — TOOL
  11. The Prince (Andrew) — Madness
  12. This band sounds like a bunch of chumps
  13. I have just tried the stem splitter function LP11 on last night's rehearsal recording. My initial impression is that the resultant stems are as good as or possibly a bit cleaner than those from RipX. Certainly the bass has most of its tone rather than being an indistinct rumble and there is very little of the bass left on the guitar track. The drums and vocals are very clean. RipX does a lot more, but I've found that it is quite time consuming and often confusing to use the editing features so I have only been using it as a simple stem splitter lately, so it looks like yhis is going to speed up my workflow as I can do everything I need to right within Logic Pro.
  14. Sausage In a Bottle — The Police
  15. Chipbuilding — Robert Wyatt
  16. Not had a chance to investigate the new features yet, but the revamped drummer looks awesome on this 'Why Logic Pro Rules' video
  17. Installing it now. The Cory Wong producer pack looks like it will be worth investigating
  18. Still waiting for the upgrade. Have to head out to rehearsal shortly so I'll probably get the upgrade when I get back. If you want to upgrade, but retain the option of being able to roll back to the previous version in case of issues, go to applications in finder, right click on the Logic Pro.app and click on [Compress "Logic Pro.app"] to create a zip archive of your current version. I've almost completely managed to wean myself off using third party plugins so I'm not worried about incompatibilites.
  19. Sit Down And Talk This Over — Wilson Pickett
  20. Gimme A Pigfoot and a Bottle Of Beer — Bessie Smith
  21. Yes, the labella danelectro set are low tension. They don't really pull on the neck much so the truss rod needed to be slackened off pretty much all the way to get any relief.
  22. It looks like it'll start walking towards you as soon as you turn your back on it
