1. Just traded a bass with Giovanni - good communication, prompt shipment, no trouble. Wouldn't hesitate to deal with him again. Thanks Gio, enjoy the bass!
2. Last chance this weekend before I trade it in a local shop on Monday.
3. I could maybe understand the 'sale', but the 'trade'?? 😧 Edited: now I see it can apply to individual instruments 😊
4. Just for fun a few weeks ago I picked an arbitrary moment in time and counted the ads by brand in the first few pages of the For Sale section (you could tell I was bored) - these were the approx results: Fender /Squier 50 MM 22 Warwick 12 Ibanez 9 Lakland 7 Gibson/Epiphone 5 Westone 5 Spector 4 Aria 4 Esp 3 Fodera 3 Tanglewood 3 Yamaha 3 W&T 3 Sandberg 2 Ken smith 2 Farida 2 Overwater 2 G&L 2 Washburn 2 Tokai 2 Clover 2 Alleva coppolo 2 (Didn't count single ocurrences of any brand) Whether this kind of thing (with repeated measurements over time) may reflect only actual market shares or not, I don't know... But yes, Fender is overwhelmming...
5. Strong pound allows me to reduce to 1525£ temporarily!! Bump http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NvGnzBQt0L4&sns=em
6. Back to its original price - but favourable pound exchange rate allows me to reduce it to 430£ For cash sale. Trades also welcome
7. Last bump at reduced price
8. Bump - would trade for an Xotic XJ 1T 4, Spector, Vigier, Shuker, ACG... Preference for 4 strings and maple f'boards. No Precision nor overly 'woody' basses
9. Cash price now reduced: 1600£ posted Need funds for another instrument...😊 (Trade value remains at 1900£)
10. Bump, cash price is 1800
11. Hi all CASH PRICE NOW: 1525£! I now have two Consats, so up for grabs this custom spec, phenomenal Marleaux bass. It is a 2009 specimen, and has all the typical Consat Custom characteristics (ebony fretboard, 34" scale, ETS bridge, Delano pickups, ultra quiet Marleaux 3-band pre, active/passive switch, etc.), with two specific options: - narrow 38 mm nut - snow white high gloss finish (a 300£ option) The bass is very light, and features all the well known Consat goodness, with a modern and authoritative tone. And of course it is ridiculously easy to play - Marleaux's necks arguably being one of the most comfortable in the market. Comes with straplocks. Serial: 12xx Link to Marleaux page: http://www.marleaux-...sat_custom.html The bass is featured in the 'Gallery' tab (towards the bottom). I bought it from the first owner, so the bass is nearly mint, with only a small 'scratch' in the truss rod access cavity (see pic below), and a tiny scratch on the surface of the pu balance knob. Shipping included with hard case or Fusion gig bag. Flight case optional at extra cost. Thanks for looking! Just a quick video to show the basic tone, recorded straight to Mac: http://youtu.be/Ta8K76tukVQ
12. Bump - 350£ with a gig bag
13. Bump... Last chance before Christmas at 380£, including hard case, and the original EMG pickups in the package. Bass strung with new Elixirs, .40-.95. In the new year, back to its original price.
14. Thanks Oli! A bit of a silly noodle, but just for anyone curious about how it sounds (recorded direct to Mac through flat Yamaha THR10) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lk2T6mEIAmo&sns=em
15. Ah... Tempting... But it should be sherwood or teal green with a maple f'board... If such a thing exists... I just recorded a video with it and I'm having second thoughts myself
16. Bargain of the year! Any chance to hear some slap using the 'jazzbucker'?
17. Bought a bass off Neil. Exceptional packaging, very quick shipment, and he went the extra mile (with significant extra cost for him) so that I could receive it asap. As with all good deals, communication was easy, efficient and pleasant from the get go. Perfect basschatter!! Thanks Neil!
