1. Bump before eBay - willing to take an offer taking into account to the fees I'd have to pay if sold on eBay.
2. I have a couple of these, both boxed which I bought as a temporary solution when the FX on bands PA died. We have a new PA now so these are just sitting in a drawer having been used only once. Primarily designed for use with a microphone, I'm sure you could hook up a DI'd bass too for recording. Full details are here http://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/irigpre/ Looking for £17.50 each posted in the UK. 3. Bought this with the intention to use it primarily to run backing tracks/samples with my band, but turns out the band just isn't disciplined enough to put in the effort required. I have a couple of other interfaces that I can use for recording so this is just sitting in its box doing nothing. Full details of it are here http://apogeedigital...roducts/gio.php but it is basically a recording interface combined with a MIDI controller laid out in a pedal board style. There are three main things you can use it for...

When recording you can have hands free operation of start/stop/record type functions of your recording software.
When recording and/or playing live you can switch in stomp boxes, amps etc.
When playing live you can cycle through pre-recorded tracks, loops etc. in MainStage
It's designed for Mac and works with Garageband, Logic and MainStage but it is MIDI so can also be used with other applications too. It's in first class condition and comes with all the cables, etc. and in it's original box, though the box has some tape on it from when it was sent to me. Looking for £160 posted in the UK.
4. bump for £10 off the original asking price. Now £70 ono posted in the UK.
5. [sup]Bought a MarkBass combo off Kris. Very easy to deal with and delivered well packed and promptly, can't ask for more really.[/sup]
I can see that the board itself is unlined, but does it have any side dots on the neck or anything?
There are dots on the side in the "standard" positions i.e. between 2 and 3, 4 and 5, 6 and 7 etc.

8. SOLD Been really enjoying this bass for the past few months but doing more and more songs recently where I need a 5 string and quite like the look of one of the basses currently for sale here at the moment so would like to move this on. It's in excellent condition and is easily the best sounding passive bass I've ever played and is also light and comfortable, really plays like butter. It's just had a fresh set of strings and set-up done. Here's original seller's pics http://www.flickr.co...49658/lightbox/ (hope that's okay). Comes with either a Yamaha gig bag or a light-flight foam case. Anyone who wants to come and try it in Chepstow is absolutely welcome to do so. I originally put £600 as a value but looking at the new prices currently, think £525 is probably more reasonable. I'm looking for a quick sale so offers very welcome. Possible trades... Yamaha 1025x Warwick Streamer 5 Warwick Streamer 4 MMan Stingray Lakland 55-02 (which is what I'm looking to buy). MarkBass NY121 Cab Call me on 07515 929935 or PM me. This is an exceptionally good bass, so I won't be too disappointed if it doesn't sell but would be annoyed to miss out on the bass I want too.

10. SOLD Took this as part of a trade a few weeks back and have used it at several gigs since and it is tremendous, quite frankly, but could do with raising a few bucks so putting up all non-essential gear for sale. Looking for £180 posted in the UK. Might take very near offers but won't be too distraught if it doesn't sell as it is exceptional. PM me or call/txt on 07515 929935
11. Took this as part of a trade deal but we have a full set of drum mics so don't really need this. In excellent condition. [s]£80[/s] £70 ono posted in the UK. PM me or call on 07515 929935.
12. Top bloke. Dealt for his 55-02 and it was a real easy transaction.
13. I have a beautiful Lakland 55-2 Deluxe in sunburst which I only acquired last weekend that I need to either sell or work some kind of part-ex deal as my dog needs another surgery and I could do with a few extra pounds in the bank to cover the innevitable horrific costs! It is in immaculate condition and is superbly set-up, currently sporting a set of flat wounds. It is from the "Made in Korea, finished in Chicago" era and sports the Lakland pick-ups and therefore, presumably the Lakland LH-3 eq system (which predates the Lakland pick-ups arrival in the specifications IIRC). The Lakland electronics are a bit more zingy than the Bartolinis these basses shipped with when they first hit the market. They offer a bit more of the Musicman growl and a bit more of that jazz bass honk than the slightly softer Barts. It makes these basses even closer to the goal Dan Lakin was trying to achieve when he devised them - a blend of classic basses all in one package. The condition, as mentioned, is superb with the deluxe spec evident in the nicely book matched quilted maple top. I've put this up with an £850 price tag as that's the value I traded for it. I don't necessarily need a cash sale, would consider a decent bass plus some cash. Maybe a BB1024x, BB1025x, TRB6, DJ4, JO4, US jazz, Stingray, Streamer Stage I or LX perhaps. Would quite like a 55-01 or possibly 44-01 in any finish except natural or sunburst. What've you got? Worst that happens is we don't have a deal, but remember I do need raise some cash so straight swaps or "plus £25" probably not going to work. PM me or drop me txt or call me on 07515 929935. Anyone welcome to come and try it out if genuinely interested and can get to Chepstow. Cheers, Pete
14. My guitarist has never played any of the following chords... A# Db D# Gb Ab ...or their minor/7th/dim etc. cousins. Because we now generally use the equal temperament system - allowing instruments to play tunes written in different keys without the need to retune - flats and sharps are enharmonic. That is A# sounds the same as Bb, D# same as Eb and so on. When it comes to a situation where some people read/understand music theory while others have come to their instrument skipping the theory part or with less knowledge of it, the sharp and flat system can seem pointless. But, in particular when it comes to music in its written form, they make much more sense. If the key is D, you know that all the F and C notes need to be played as F# and C# unless an incidental (an instruction in the music score to play a natural, sharp or flat note) tells you otherwise. Without the key signature and the convention/rules regarding flats and sharps within those keys, the score would need to feature incidentals at every point a flat or sharp occurs, which would be over-complicated to read. If we'd had equal temperament from the beginning, maybe we would have had a 12 note stave with the notes named A to L.
15. Now on eBay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/331060804924?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 make me an offer. Can do a much better deal without eBay's involvement!

Think that might be a trick of the light, the board is rosewood.
