1. FOR SALE: Lakland Skyline Darryl Jones signature 5 string with East active EQ. I purchased this bass second hand from The Bass Gallery in London around 7 years ago. Have gigged it on and off (alongside a 4 string jazz and P), but having recently put together my own Warmoth custom 5 string, it's time to get rid of my old Lak. This bass was formely owned by Randy Hope Taylor (Jeff Beck), and has been set up nicely. The East electronics are monsterous if you want them to be, but very broad so you can get a huge range of sounds. The only visibile damage is a couple of tiny chips on the back (see picture) and a chip off the black paint on the headstock (see picture). Unfortunately I lost the original gig bag, so I can only offer it with a generic soft case. These retail at £1,099 (without the East), so grab yourself a bargain active Jazz bass. 2. I'm selling an old cab. Didn't use it that much, but as seems quite common with Ashdown, doesn't take much to give them problems. This cab has a slight vibration from the right hand speaker, so if you're looking for a precision sound for recording, this isn't the cab for you. However, if you're happy with a slight noise/know how to change a speaker, this is the cab for you. Pickup only (Epsom, Surrey, UK). Sensible offers accepted.
3. SOLD: Sadowsky NYC 4 String J Bass 21 fret Maple Neck Blue Quilted Top Hipshot Hard Case I acquired this bass 5 years ago on eBay, it's a beautiful instrument and I'll be sad to see it go. I've been playing bass for over 10 years and after playing a huge number of instruments, I truly believe this has one of the smoothest, fastest and easiest necks you'll ever play. The intonation is perfect, and the versatile tone records very nicely. As you'll see from the photos, this bass has some asthetic damage from it's years of service - various dings and marks in the lacquer on the body, a scratch on the bridge, a small piece of damage to the wood on one of the frets, a couple of marks on the headstock, and the nut for the passive/active switch was missing the day I acquired the bass...However, these don't effect how the bass plays and are a result of this bass being used what it was built for! This bass is up for sale, and I have so much gear I'm afraid I won't be accepting any part exchange offers. Pickup only (Surrey).
