    Hi everyone, after a bit of advice. I'm currently destroying/upgrading my very first bass. I've managed to refinish it in Olympic white with the finesse and precision of a ballet dancing rhino (gonna go for an aged relic look now) the neck is well used with the possible need for a few new frets. My question is one of pick ups and pots/caps for the moment. The original ones are shot to bits and I'm gonna put new ones in. I was thinking some quarter pounders for the pups but I have no idea what to look for on the pots/caps front. Any help would be much appreciated. Also does anyone know how to go about finding a new scratch plate that'd fit, I've got a fender p bass copy one but it's a bit too small. Cheers guys Adam

    Beautuful bass man, what's the width at the nut and the neck profile? Being as I've never played a Gibson bass what sort of tone do they give? Seriously thinking about convincing the better half that I need this bass

    I can't believe I've just read 4 pages of reply's and not one person has mentioned how the amp SOUNDS. Lots and lots of it looks crap, it looks cheap, it looks this, it looks that. As a bass PLAYER I don't care if it looks like a steaming turd if it sounds great. So I'm with MB1 on this one.... Has anyone heard or played one?

    For sale is my much beloved ampeg rig. Consisting of an svt-cl head and 1 x svt410hlf cab, custom built full flight case for the head and custom fabric case for the cab. Everything is in total mint condition, in fact this cab has been used only once as i have two of them but found transporting both together was a mission therefore the one I'm selling is practically new. Unfortunately I don't play anywhere near often enough to warrant having this gear anymore and due to space at home I have to very reluctantly try and find her a new home. This is a f***ing awesome sounding rig that needs no further introduction or explanation. I will upload some pics when I get on my pc, but for now if you look at item no 300668495567 on eBay there are pics on there. I am located in south buckinghamshire just outside London. I'm looking for £1500 for the lot, sensible very near offers maybe considered. If you're interested contact Adam on 07703051178.
