  1. Status Jazz Neck- Looking for £300 Plus £15 to ship. Condition as per photos - I believe that this has not been drilled in the correct way (countersunk) so please be aware of that. Some chipping around screw holes and where the string tree has been. Collection and inspection preferred due to this but shipment is possible so please look at the photos carefully.
  2. Schaller Bass Tuners BML 4L Gold - £70, plus £3.50 to ship mainland UK. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Bass-Tuners-BML-Black-Gold/dp/B008OEDKRY
  3. KiOgon stack-knob Jazz wiring kit. Complete with knobs. £65 plus £3.50 to ship mainland UK.
  4. Tech 21 - Sansamp dUg Pinnick DP-3X £250 shipped Mainland UK. Excellent pedal – so much so I’ve got two of them, so now wanting to sell one. Comes with tin (a few scuffs and scrapes on the tin) , sticker, manual, psu. Also features a tuner, compressor and a headphone amp/socket for silent practicing. Link to the webpage here http://www.tech21nyc.com/products/sansamp/dp3x/
  5. Lakland Skyline DJ Neck - £200 plus £10 to ship Mainland UK Good overall condition - dating from 2005 (If I'm reading there serial number right - 05xxxx) Ordinarily this wouldn't fit a fender neck pocket but I had a nice man shave it down it touch so now it does. Note the 21 Frets, so if replacing a standard 20 Fret jazz you would need to relocate the bridge or have sufficient travel in the saddles to get the intonation spot on.
  6. Nothing that I can remember as non standard. Didn't really know much about them at the time - pre internet etc. Love gooey tube sound I do remember. Pretty sure it is, or was, still local to me - I've seen it surface on eBay a couple of times over the years - I recognised some of the wear and the marks on it.
  7. Great amp - I had one first proper amp. Probably didn't realise how good it was at the time. Someone stole it from the rehearsal space about 20 years ago.....

  9. Yeah, I think that's absolutely right, and maybe people likely be more picky on a neck than a body?
  10. The bodies are great - I got this from another BC'er. P Bass Body - added option of the J Route, painted by previous BC'er, cavity shielded. Good platforms to build on certainly. The necks I've found are less good - hard to describe exactly but feel a bit weird and not up to the same level of the bodies I've found. Maybe its because the neck is a more tactile area??
  11. It might do if it was strung B E A D ?! It's not impossible that I would have changed the pickups and possibly the preamp anyway - but that said, I cant reconcile £1800 for a Korean Spector in my head.
  12. 1 month thread revival....anybody got one of these yet? I see the gent who posted clips and then took them down has made further comments in the other place that he tried all the suggestion (playing softer, lowering pickups) with no improvement. I was planning on ordering one but at c£1800 for a Korean Spector, with seemingly unresolved issues, I dont think I will be doing.
  13. 2003 Warwick Streamer Jazzman LX Left Handed Warwick Jazzman Streamer LX - 2003 - £775 shipped Mainland UK. Bought this for my son to play, but..... 1) He's prioritising drums 2) It's too posh for a secondary instrument, so will replace with something lower end. 3) Not sure if he's left handed or not!! - new drum teacher has suggested reconfiguring his kit to with the opposite dominant hand, maybe try the same with bass??? Funds wanted to upgrade kit and cymbals. Warwick Streamer in the Jazzman configuration. This gives a switchable parallel/series/single coil humbucker, really versatile and also a jazz pickup. Fair overall condition -the body is half swamp ash and half flame maple. A few minor marks, discoloration on the bass body. Flush stralock fittings installed - The horn straplock isnt the neatest of jobs, please see photo. Overall condition acceptable for an 18 year old bass. The specification is: produced: 20.11.2003 Description: Streamer, 4-string Natural Oil finish Swamp Ash/AA Flamed Maple top body Ovangkol neck Gold hardware Left-hand
  14. I always find it hard to describe sound, and I'm too old for recordings, I'd have to say it sounds like a good P bass with added clarity, the best word I can think to describe is pure.
  15. Here you go mate: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Bass-Tuners-BML-Black-Gold/dp/B008OEDKRY 😂😂😂
  16. Standard Fender dimensions for pocket, I've had various Fender type necks on it. I believe it's alder but not 100per cent certain on that.
  17. Yep, horrible - really winds me up. Same when trying to get served at the bar in a busy pub.
  18. I'm old but I think that means good?? Or is it the mis match of blue / tort plate / black bridge / chrome knobs and gold tuners making you feel queasy?
  19. Fender PB 57 Made In Japan. £775 shipped mainland UK I'm settling on my gear to use for gigs when things are 100% open so listing up a few that have duplicate functions. Will list for a few days on here before running the gauntlet by listing up elsewhere!! 50th anniversary, so dates to c1996. Pots have been changed but they are high quality ones. Good overall condition given the age - a few dings, scuffs and scrapes on the body
  20. Fender Logo JV P Bass - Made In Japan. This Fender Logo P Bass is a PB 62 for the Japanese Domestic Market. I'm settling on my gear to use for gigs when things are 100% open so listing up a few that have duplicate functions. Will list for a few days on here before running the gauntlet by listing up elsewhere!! Dates from 1984. Black Plate added but original white plate will also be included. Good overall condition given the age - a few scuffs and scrapes on the body and on the end of the headstock. All works as it should, truss rod and bridge all adjust fine and I've had this set up well with Low Tension TI Flats to Heavy Gauges strings with no problems. My photos are on the glass table outside, I've also added some from the original importer showing the white plate, both plates will be included in the sale of course. Then a couple of close up pics at the end showing some of the scuffs. Near the bridge, I think from a restring, and near the truss access, where someone has tried to adjust the truss rod without removing the neck I guess.
