  1. The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner - Iron Maiden
  2. On the good ship Lollipop - Shirley Temple (I am metal incarnate.)
  3. (What's that coming over the hill? Is it a.....) Monster? - The Automatic
  4. I too have an Ibanez Mezzo 5 string in 32" and can confirm that they are cracking little basses - my band managed to squeeze in a couple of rehearsals before lockdown hit us again and they also really liked how it sits in the mix (I'm lucky, my band like plenty of bass!) I found I like the 32" scale, so when a Warwick Corvette in 32" 5 string popped up on the forum I was tempted and snapped it up. Not had a chance to use it with the band yet but at home it sounds good. A tighter sound than the Mezzo, chunkier (but comfortable neck) and narrower string spacing (which I find fine.) At home, the low B on this sounds really good, maybe better than my 34" Sandberg! Either of these are good off the shelf options IMHO 🙂
  5. Three Coins in a Fountain - Andy Williams (I do worry about my brain sometimes..0
  6. Eclectic, pumping and fun would be my choice. Maybe Ca Plan Pour Moi - Plastic Bertrand, Drink - Alestorm, Breathe - Prodigy then throw everyone off guard with the below.
  7. Angel of Death - Slayer (if just for the joyous juxtaposition of Cliff and Slayer.)
  8. I think it's fine - I have an NG5 Dingwall 37" B and a Sandberg 34" B. It's not in the Dingwall league, but it's as good as the Sandberg. I've since picked up another 32", a Warwick Rockbass Corvette and the B on that actually might be better than the Berg... Am enjoying that scale length 😀
  9. Best, my little Ibanez Mezzo 32" 5 string for £258. Innocent, somewhat sweet looking but a right bruiser in the mix. My band now get annoyed if I use anything else...
  10. Steve bought my DMX Foot Controller - super fast payment, clear comms and has just let me know it has arrived safely. Top job Sir.
