    This case has had very little use and is in great condition. Was used to hold a backup amp which was also never used. Now the amp has gone the case needs to go too! Looking for about £50 for it or make an offer. They are about £100 new when you include delivery etc

    I own an EA micro head and an Aguilar DB112NT 1x12 cab which I use for smaller gigs and recordings and sessions when I don't need my full rig. Today I was doing some recording in the studio and I noticed that on the E string the lower notes were starting to break up and distort - the preamp was not clipping. I tried different basses, different levels of volume and it still happened. I then put an EBS multicomp infront of it and that helped with it - the more the compression the less the distortion. I've played the EA head through my Orange 8x10 and it is fine and I have used my Orange AD200B through the Aguilar when re-amping some bass lines and that was also fine. Do you think it possible that there is some sort of mismatch between the cab and the head. The power handling and ohms is fine but maybe the aguilar cab isn't efficient enough for the EA head or the way the head is Voiced? I have seen people comment about the amount of low end these heads have but the head was set flat.. so I'm altogether sure what is causing it. Anyone any Ideas!?

    For sale is my old 3/4 size Double Bass. It's Czech made and it's a Rossetti 'Stradavarius' model. I'm not sure how old it is but believe it might be at around 30 years old. It has seen some wear and tear over the years but I have used this bass playing jazz quartet gigs over the past few years so the playability is OK. It needs a new bridge and an E string - the 3 other strings are Thomastik Spirocores It would be great for a beginner interested in taking up the bass without shelling out for an expensive instrument (I actually learn on this bass) or for somebody who is interested in doing up instruments. £150 ono Obviously it would need to be picked up from me in the South Wales area

    Thanks! Yeah it is an awesome amp. I endorse Orange so can't really use it live other than a backup! Please some one buy it!

    Woah these cabs have shot up in price, just looked at the rrp for this and it is atleast 100 quid more than last year. Good cabs. Now use 8x10 and it kills it. This cab willl sound awesome!
