EBS Valve Drive - £120 plus p&p

Selling my EBS Valve Drive Preamp/Overdrive pedal w/box, manual and accesories. It does not include the european adapter.

Great sounding as a preamp infront of your amp or as a gnarly distortion pedal which is what I mainly used it for and became a large part of my sound. The pedal has been toured and used but has been kept in good condition and maintained. In the pictures you can see that there is some paint bubbling on the pedal which I'm not sure how this started but it doesn't effect the pedal in any at all. I can't find the european power supply it came with but I think the cable became damaged and I ended running it off a Trex Fuel Tank.

£120 plus postage

I don't really understand: I previously pmd saying I'd take it. No response to my messages despite them being read. Got past the poin of interest after a while so stated that I don't want it after all. To this day no comms back from seller.

Do you really want to sell the pedal??

One thing I like about BC is the way people deal with each other and being ignored when your offering someone cash for their item is not something in line with the BC vibe! Get me?

Hi, Yes I do want to sell this pedal.

I can remember receiving your messages. Unfortunately I was very busy that weekend and was unable to respond straight away as I was in a studio recording a band. Actually I did attempt to reply quickly on my mobile but the 3G signal was so weak that it obviously didn't get through to you.

You seemed unsure you could commit to buying the pedal until you knew it would fit on your pedal board and also said you wouldn't have had the money until Monday either - so I felt there was no Immediate rush to respond and would get my work out of the way first. I then received another message on Sunday saying that you didn't want the pedal after all, so I felt there was no need to reply to the message.

I have happily dealt with people both buying and selling gear on basschat and have never had a problem. It's a great forum. I don't however expect people to reply immediately to my messages and appreciate that people have lives and jobs and if I don't get a response for a day or two then I assume they are busy!

I'm sorry that I hadn't replied sooner but I was extremely busy, and if you had not sent a message saying you no longer wanted the pedal I would have most likely replied on the monday morning tos sort the sale out.

I've copy and pasted the messages that were sent so people can see the time frame we are talking about that I hadn't responded in - just over a day.

Hi mate,

So I'd like to take your valve drive please :)

I'm selling my sansamp prog bddi deluxe to fund it and a London music store has offered me £120 for it. So I plan on going there on Monday morning and selling it to them if it hasn't gone from here over the weekend with a price drop. So I should have the money into your account by Monday. All good?

Hey, I just realised that I haven't checked the size situation with my board. I'll take a look after work tonight and see. If I can't squeeze it in then I may not be willing to go through the hassle of finding a new board! But otherwise the offer still stands!

We I'm not sure if you were interested as you didn't respond but I won't be having it after all mate.

Ok no worries.

I make a point of responding ASAP and acknowledging receipt of people messages in sales matters so they're fully in the loop but I suppose I do live in London so tend to have data coverage pretty much all the time so I appreciate that one might not be able to communicate when in more rural areas.

So thanks for the explaination and I wish you the best with the sale mate.

Ash
