1. Still available for anyone who may be interested. Also going on Gumtree but don't hesitate to ask if you're interest. I will change the title to sold if it goes.
2. Just a quick bump, still for sale
3. Hi there. This is an American made cabinet. It sounds great and will no doubt last an extremely long time. The speaker was recently replaced for a brand new 8ohm, 200W Eminence Alpha - http://www.eminence....model=Alpha_15A I'm looking to pass this on as it's simply sitting in storage. It needs to be used and not neglected. Here are a couple of pictures: (More pictures available, just ask) The cabinet itself is in great condition, there's only the scratches on the metal corners. The fur is in good condition too, no tears and it's just been cleaned. I'm asking for £100 or nearest offer. I'm in the North Nottinghamshire area not far from Newark, and the buyer will need to collect. Thanks for any interest, and if you want any more information or pictures please don't hesitate to ask.
4. I have Peavey cabs, bought the pair for £100. Went to pick them up about an hour away from where I live. I'm 17, hardly the strongest of people (Really tall though) and I couldn't believe how heavy they are. I really like the sound though. I was looking for a Peavey head to go with them, but ended up getting a TCE instead. It's good stuff though, I read all the time about Peavey stuff being built like tanks, and getting good overall reviews - So when I saw two cabs for £100 I jumped on the oppurtunity. It's stuff I'll potentially have for years to come (If I choose to that is).
5. I only have the BH500 head, and I'm desperate to get my hands on the cabs to match. Currently have two Peavey cabs for it to power. It's an incredible head. Sounds great, plenty of features and different sounds to be dialed in. Love it. And I do agree about the comaraderie, I've had no end of help, advice and warm greetings from fellow bass players
6.
Hey Guys/Mr Anthony yep - problem solved - combination of gain/volume/sansamp settings/new strings and darren from Bassmerchant. JB
Wonderful, great to hear. Enjoy
7. I have to say, I'm thoroughly impressed with the customer service from TCE. I have this same amp and it's insanely loud through my cabs. If mine ever goes wrong it's good to know that there's help and support available straight away. Basstech, did the problem ever get solved?
8. Building my first rig, finally! Picked these up last week, Peavey 410TX and 115BX fitted with an Eminence Alpha. Yes, they need some TLC, but I've got a week off so it should be fun! Head will be a TC Electronic BH500, yet to order. Can't wait!
9. I considered the full MBX stack (1x15 + 2x10) to go with and MB series head, also from Thomann. Opted out in the end, as getting both the cabs would have gone over my budget, I ended up getting two Peavey's off eBay instead. If I could have afforded both cabs, (Roughly £300) then I'd have probably bought them, but the cabs I bought cost £100 for the pair. If you could find somewhere you could try them out first, then go for it. Otherwise, they're priced well and Thomann do offer a 30 day return period, if I'm not mistaken. Anthony.
10. Hi there. That's a good price, could I trouble you for a picture? Without being rude of course.
11. Hi everyone, I've been lurking for a while now and finally decided I'd register. I currently play in the band ('orchestra' but with parts missing as they've left now) at my college. I was in a "rock/whatever you want to call it" band, but because of musical differences that me and the guitarist had with the drummer, we disbanded. He liked all the crazy screamo stuff, where it's impossible to understand a word they say. Whereas we liked things that are much softer. Any song written, and presented to the drummer would always have the same reply. 'Why don't you put a scream in here?' or 'Why don't... After this line go into a breakdown?' No. These songs were meant to be played the way they were written. Anyway, enough ranting. I'm a bassist of four years, and recently (June) bought my second bass guitar. Came across it on eBay for £180 inc. Shipping. (Total £200). Got myself a nice DeArmond Pilot Deluxe from the 90's. The guy said it was one of the last made. It's much better than the Korean lump of a bass I had previously. (http://www.gear4musi...uitar-Black/1O7) Aren't I cool, eh? Ha. Regarding my previous statement, you'd think with a bass like that I'd fit right in, no? And I'm currently looking to buy new amplification. Saving for a nice stack. As to the brand, size, wattage, etc. No idea. Anyway, I hope to enjoy my time here. Thanks, Anthony.
