The bass has 3 PUs and a 4 th piezo in the bridge. Lots of sound possibilities. The three potis are for the normal PUs, the 4th is passive tone. If you pull it it's for the piezo. The bass is as new. With the 30" scale is fits in a guitar bag. Amazing short scale bass. I'm selling my Sandberg hardcore aged Masterpiece bass. The bass is in good condition (except for the dings and dongs ;-)). Comes with original Sandberg bag, strap (never used), 2nd (also aged) pickguard in black and tools. Due to the thermo and vibration treatment the bass feels and sounds like an old, well played bass. The response is great. No deadspots. Great punchy JB sound. I had the strings on my bass for one day and played them 1,5 h. They are the ones with aluminium winding and a synthetic core. see here: My bass has already lots of lowend so the strings were too dark sounding for my taste. They have a very nice playability (low tension) and the tone production is very good.

The set was only for two days on my bass. Maximum playing time was 2 hours. It's the set with the D- and G-string in gut. The A- und E-string have a synthetic core with chrome-steel winding. The tension of the strings is very low.

Thank's. I bought the bass like this and have honestly no idea what year it exactly is. I bought it for its sound and feel Plus at this price I didn't care that much for originality since we are not talking about a 60 P bass at a 5-8 k price range. Some modifications were obviously made. But it would be nice to know though.

The string was only for three hours on my bass. This is the C-string that Renauld Garcia Fons uses. The condition is like new (see pic).

Fender Precision fretless natural. body is elder (stripped, good job!). There a Jazz PU added and an active EMG Preamp (Vol/Vol bass/treble (cut/boost on stacked knob)). battery compartment on the back. bass is in good condition for nearly 35 years. there's one ding on the fretboard between the strings, so it doesn't influence the sound. bass weights 4 kg. strung withThomastik flats. The two front knobs were changed to JB knobs (I bought it like this). For £ 60 I put a brandnew Hiscox hardcase on top . Playability and sound are outstanding on this one.
