1. Great stuff! Well done. My pal is in this situation at the moment. He has played guitar for years, but the idea of playing music with others terrifies him. Gonna show him this thread. Congratulations and again well done! RK
2. I am lucky enough to have the OW circuit in my first Perception, and the East in my custom. The East circuit is a monster, no doubt, but the OW is a sweeeet preamp. RK
3. Ha ha! Class! RK
4. Easy! I locked myself in the wardrobe for a few weeks. It puts the time in! RK
5. Good Luck (wo)man. You'll love it. It's what your bass is for, after all. Have a blast! RK
6. I'd recommend patience counselling! ha ha RK
7. Woop! All in one piece. I bet you are waiting by the letter box for this thing to pop through. Absolutely beautiful wood choice, cool hardware, really nice bass. RK
8. Oh yes, it's a beaut! It's all in the details. RK

Feedback for dudi8

Did a pedal swap with David. Great communications, great guy. Pedals arrived from Hungary today, seriously well packaged. No problems at all. Would deffo recommend David to other BC'ers. Thanks again Robin
13. What's the answer? My bass is made of it, but I'd like to say it properly. And what is the correct spelling of Ziricote/Ziracote etc? RK
14. This is a most informative thread. I'm a noob to the whole recording thing, (did my first recording stint 2 days ago - it was all greek to me!) and I've learned loads just from reading thus far. I hope this gets sorted for the OP. Thanks for the sharing of wisdom from those who know about this stuff. BC is a wonderful place! RK
15. I'm delighted with it, but, I've started adding mods already, doh. I'm adding a 'direct in' socket to bypass the wireless if I need to, and ordered a new looper to allow me to switch. And a Sustain pedal, for some of the tracks we do. Oh, and started the 'suitase' to carry it in. When is the 8-string coming to you? RK
16. Very nice! It's all in the details. RK
17. Subscribed! It's official, I'm a Build Diary junkie. Fantastic work. RK
18. That's the sound I'm after!!! Going to the man-shed to hack up my Overwater. back soon! RK
19. My bass doesn't even have a ribbon, let alone a bow. I'll get my coat, RK
20. Hey Romeo, I think the Freeze requires a 'stomp' to start the sustain, and then another 'stomp' to end it. I may be wrong, but if it does, this isn't what I want. RK
21. Nice work! RK
22.
Might be worth trying the second hand effects forum on here, that way you wont lose money if it's not what you want.
Will do. thanks Rk
23.
Try a compressor (or ten) before you buy one. Your other option is an Ebow,
Thanks for the steer, but I live in the 'frozen north', and opportunities to try stuff just don't come up. I may need to take a punt on a Soul Preacher. RK
24.
Compressor.
Yeah, just tripped over the EHX Soul Preacher, which seems to fit the bill. thanks RK
25. Hello effects people. I'm a novice at this, but I want a pedal that will hold a clean bass note, or chord, longer than my bass will deliver, until I play the next note or chord. Not for an indefinite time, but for a 'wee while'. I've looked at the EHX stuff, the Little Big Muff, and the Freeze, and I'm not convinced either will do this. The LBM adds distortion, which I certainly don't want, and the Freeze will hold a note until the footswitch is pressed? Excuse me if I have misunderstood this. Am I looking for something impossible? RK
