Penultimate 2017 kebab hunt for the Troubadours tonight found us at the ever splendid Denton kebabs, a regular high scorer in the guide.

Has to be said although it's all quality it seems to be the sauce(s) they have that's the icing on their cake so to speak..

That moment you see some gear you want but have to shift old gear first and it just doesn't seem to sell.  Keep checking on the gear I want to make sure its still available aaaarrrrgggghhhhh

Awesome new kebabery for the band tonight after advice from the locals to walk the extra 10 yards past the first contender. Follies of Accrington. Splendid donner and chips with what could be the sauce of the future, "sweet" chile. And some hobby horse action at the end of the night.

DPD... what a shower of cowboys! Despite multiple requests, they continue to leave stuff on my doorstep without getting it signed for. Expensive stuff!!

Took no chances with the apres gig feasting after a gig full of confederate flags (not ours) where people paid far to much money to see us. We dived into the local McDonalds which was as expected, though the box of 20 chicken nuggets the singer and I had between us in addition to our burger meals was probably a bit excessive but we did miss the pie and peas supper at the gig. Don't think we've ever had people line dancing to us before either.

Just got a set of Newtone strings... never heard of them until a few weeks ago, and initial impressions are very good. Quite a bit firmer than my usual D'Addarios, but full, bright and consistent. I shall report back after tomorrow night's rehearsal...
