Rat pedals are great. I used a 'Turbo Rat' once for recording and I think it could work well for you . . . It's a guitar pedal primarily but I found it worked really well with Bass . . .

My 75' P-Bass. I don't actually have her in my possession yet (she is en route from the US) but I reckon she'll be the one . . . Och, now I feel like I'm cheating on my Sandberg. I love you too honey! Sorry, getting a bit weird now . . .
Hi, Regarding your Fender Bassman. I have a Fender 1962 Reissue Jazz (USA). The bass is exceptional condition. With minor buckle rash to the back and wear to the front. I can send pictures. I would be interested in a trade with a cash adjustment my way. Cheers Patrick.
Hi Patrick. I have a Sandberg California (Jazz copy) which pretty much covers my Jazz needs. Plus I recently bought a 75' P-Bass so not really looking for another bass at the moment. Feel free to make me a cash offer though . . . Thanks for your interest. Kelso

Stuff the NME - What are Basschat's Favourite (not best) basslines?
Kelso replied to merello's topic in General Discussion
For once in my life - Stevie Wonder (James Jamerson) is simply the best bass playing I have ever heard. What's Going On - Marvin Gaye (James Jamerson) is a close second. Bit of a departure from Motown but Bullet in the Head by RATM (Timmy C) is a great bass line. Simple but does it's job perfectly. -
Verbleiben Niedrige! (Hope that makes sense!?) Stay low!

Welcome! I am also quite new to this place. It's great for advice, buying and selling, and, more importantly, a place to spraff geekily about the wonders of playing bass! . . . . Loves it . .

Definitely get a drummer or at least try and jam with one. Drum machines aren't fun to jam with and you can't go with them for a pint and a blether after practice (arguably the most important part!) . . .

Hi all. Fender Bassman TV 15 now FOR SALE NOW SOLD!!!! I just bought another amp so need the funds. It's a cracking amp, can shift plenty of air (350watts and a 15' speaker) and has a lovely old school tone. There are a few scuffs to the tweed but I think they make it look cooler! Comes with Fender Cover. I'm based in Edinburgh and don't have my own transport so collection preferred but I could get a mate to give me a lift and meet half way (within reason). Or, a courier could be arranged at buyers expense.
