Ray34, with a lovely quilt top, roasted maple neck replete with hip shot detuner.
3 band EQ
No scratches or through the lacquer dints, i'd call it 9.5/10.
Truss rod in full working order.
Set up is excellent, plug and play..
Choppped carbon wrap on the plate, I have others available, grey marble, tort available f.o.c
Also looks great without the plate at all.
A very classy bit of kit.
All the usuals, come round, meet up, post at buyer expense (insured).

Sea foam green (its looks a little blue in some photo's..its green) Roasted maple neck, not over cooked like some i have seen really nice. Gloss headstock, rest is satin...really nice in the hand. Set up with Earnine balls roundwound..did i mention through strung?
All the reviews quote a very slight bottom end scoop on these, no problem on this one, Dimarzio DP122 fitted, sound awesome.
One very small scuff in the belt buckle area nothing throught the finish so not that visible.
I have wrapped the tortoishell scratchplate in a chopped carbon car wrap, and changed the knobs to flat top tele style black one.
This is a great bass, oozes class. I am selling only becuase my car broke and somethings gotta give. My loss your gain, buyer basically get the dimarzios for free.

An ultra-compact and stylish bass amplifier, the impressive VEYRON MOSFET packs a punch, Class-D power under the hood – with plenty of room left over for some amazing features.
Has a warm high-voltage MOSFET preamp, an expressively-dynamic compressor, as well as DYNAMIZER technology.
Together with a versatile and wide-ranging EQ section, an integral balanced DI, dedicated FX Loop etc.
Gigged so not perfect but loud as a very loud thing.. Great amp for the meagre price asked..
Clearing out all my spares and backup bits and bobs..the tube version also available

Silly question from an MM noob...
In the HH version, is the bridge pickup in the same position that it is in the single pickup version - the "sweet spot"? 🤔
Seem unlikely that it would be different. For cost and sonic resons...

What?? How is this still here?
Shows how superfluous tone controls are . 😉😉
Beyond me, circumstances being different it would be the first one to be kept. Punches way beyond its label.

thanks. Greg brought us all together for this project to raise money for charities (four songs four charities). We also did a charity single for NHS workers affected by the COVID crisis (ptsd) called 'lifeboat'..

The pack down from the #1 gig was hurried to make enough to travel to and set up for the second 50 miles or so away. The musician up next was setting up as we were packing down, but he was injured/on crutches and using helpers to set up (my guess is he knew what boxes were his and what weren't but they didnt). Anywho it got inadvertantly picked up, and not seeing it visible i had assumed that the other guys in the band had loaded it. Anyway the mistake was realised and the chap kindly returned it to the venue about a wek later.
Simple mistake, honestly rectified, some faith in (musician based) humanity restored.

Here we have the latest model 5hh SUB 5 bass in candy red. The stock bass comes with the big plate bridge which i don't like so that has been swapped out for a very good small plate version. Two screw holes are revealed but i have stained them red so are barely visible
I have carbon wrapped the white scratchplate(pattern is called chopped carbon, really nice) which gives a classier vibe, easily removable if it doesn't suit the buyer. (also can wrap it in black if buyer prefers).
Flat topped tele style control knobs.
Other than that, stock. 5 position switch, Maple on Maple neck
Well set up, Wide range of sounds plays beautifully. Currently strung with Ernie Ball 130/50 set.
The pre-amp on these later version is less hot than the earlier examples and works well so i haven't changed it out.
All the usuals, come round and try out, we have biscuits. (Rochester)
Meet up somewhere close to the M25 for fuel money, coffee and a chat.
Postage at buyers cost, i have the packing for it so expect about £40 courier costs insured.

Where did you get the replacement bridge from?
Aliexpress although some pop up on ebay every now and again. Not mega expensive but visually better than stock and reaily the same sort of quality.

@Oopsdabassist i get the 3d version from ebay, the 4,5 and 6d version are too brittle. The other one i used (but expensive in comparison), is one called baked carbon...like this

I am selling SUB 4 with all of the right mods on it to make it rather special.
Firstly as a first run model this has a rosewood fretboard, not available on a the current new ones to my knowledge.
Secondly i have swapped out the bridge for the smaller and more visually pleasing ray3x style bridge.
Thirdly I have uprated the pre amp to the excellent retrovibe stinger '77 circuit. I have also vinyl wrapped the scratchplate and control plate in black carbon fibre. ( i can remove either on request)
Finally I am selling this with a hipshot detuner. Very light plectrum wear on the front (couldnt photograph its that light. Other than that perfect.

ray34's are wired parallel. I have modified sub4's in the past to have series/parallel and would have done this one as well, but there isnt enough space under the plate for a switch.
