2. "Getting a full band of musicians in a room together to practice is like herding cats!" - as quoted by a good friend
3. Shame on me...... Mr Purpolaris bought my SVP from me in an easy transaction with great comms and I should have left this feedback looong ago! Trade with confidence peoples
4. Love it! Sounds real "loose" but "together" if you know what I mean.
5.
If you're willing to ship to Stockholm, Sweden, and accept Paypal, I could take this off your hands. Let me know Cheers, Ola
Certainly is an option If you let me have your address (in PM) I will get a quote for shipping. We can do Paypal as as long as its as a gift. I have good feedback on here and on Ebay as Acebassmusic. Do you have a feedback link on here?
6. We usually start with something like "Long Train Running" - immediately recognisable and gets people feet tapping straight away. We do 3 or 4 songs one straight after the other, minimal gap, just to get the momentum going.
7.
Can it drive a power amp?
Yes. I used to use it with a QSC PLX-1604. You can also use it as a channel strip pre-amp for recording with.
8. More stuff to clear out and make space Here are 2 Elecrovoice SX200 PA cab which are great for vocals etc. They are pretty clean with some minor knocks. They can either be used on their own or with subs. They are each 300w RMS rated at 8 ohms. I was using them as monitors for the band so they havent been pushed very hard. They come complete with padded covers by Falcon and also the plastic stands that allow you to use the cabs at the correct angle as monitors. I'm looking for £200 for the lot + shipping
9. I've decided to have a bit of a clear out and have several items I want to get rid of so I can buy more stuff to fill the space that I've just made.....you know how it goes Anyway.....here is my back up sound processor in very good condition. Its a DBX DDP Digital Dynamic Processor and has lots of functions - compressor, gate, parametric, expander, EQ, limiter etc. I'm looking for £110 + shipping which I think will be in the region of £15 for most of mainland UK. The pics show it currently rack mounted with an Ampeg SVP-PRO pre-amp which is for sale in another thread.

13.
Slug tape! Genius!
I'd love to take the credit on this.........but I got the idea off another post......on here I think it was
14. Yip, I had the same problem (mine was second hand). Lots of earth hiss and fizz until I shielded everything - battery compartment electrics routing and pick-up recesses. I joined all of them together by soldering short lengths of wire from one to the other and then finally to earth. Used slug tape from B&Q Waaay better now. I think Fender should be highly embarrased about sending out basses that cost in the region of £1k+ with this type of issue. There are a lot of budget basses that dont have this problem. Right.....just got to go and find a ladder so I can climb down off my soapbox....
15.
Is that a brass plate at the heel of the fretless neck? I think Wilkes used to do one like that for slapping Is it any good?
Yip its a brass plate and is for slappin' It seemed to give a good attack like frets would and also protected the end of the fretboard.
