    Just been sent a link to my old 1979 Musicman Sabre bass that I put in px for a Jaydee Calibas 5 string in 1998. That was through the Embassy in Mansfield if anyone remembers it? I'd travelled down to buy a matching pair of 5 string Wals (John Vannamans own if I remember, with elm facings). I think he was asking £1500.....yes you read it right 2 Wals for what you now pay for the jack socket and an old set of pickups!!! Been gutted ever since....but I got the Calibas and was a very happy chappy. Anyway, back to the plot......I'd owned the bass for about 11 years and when I'd bought it it had 2 Gordon custom fretted and fretless necks which i swapped occasionaly. From the looks of the photos the bass is in exactly the same condition I sold it 14 years ago!!     Nice bass....shame the only thing I have to trade is bits of paper with some numbers on and a famous ladies picture.....I wonder how many you would need?

    I'm using Ken Smith TCRML-5's ([color="#000000"]Taper Core-Medium Light[/color] [color="#000000"].044 .063 .080T .102T .125T[/color]). Also hex core strings tend to feel tighter / stiffer I find.

    I'm selling my fully working and very clean condition TC Electronic G-Major multi effects unit. I has built in EQ, noise gate, compressor, reverbs, delays, wahs, octaver, tremolo, phaser, flanger etc each of which can be switched in / out from the front panel as required. I have been using this via my effects loop and found the compressor (and all the effects) to just add their effect without changing the fundamental sound of the bass. Comes with operating manual. The screen in the first couple of photos does not show up too well. This was due to the flash - last pic shows its working great. The only reason I am selling is I bought the newer version. I'm looking for £150 (plus shipping) from Aberdeen.

    Just as it says in the topic, I have 3 rack cases for sale. Each of them is in good condition with all latches and handles working. Postage cost from Aberdeen would depend on where you live. Update - for guidance on shipping cost the 3U or 4U standard rack would be approx £15 by Parcelforce48.
