3. Wayne has just been and purchased my Sandberg JM4. Initially contacted me via PM and has remained in constant contact right up to buying the Sandberg. Had a noodle on it before committing to buy, and is quite an accomplished player . Fell in love with it and paid the asking price. Nice to see such enthusiasm in a young man! A pleasure to deal with, have faith in any future transactions you may have with him.
 4.
mp
PM replied to. Just for any other interested parties out there, I've just weighed this in response to a PM and it weighs in at 11lbs, quite heavy, but I like that in a bass! Cheers Rowley
 5.
Oh thats just lovely!
It could be yours!
 6.
Is this a Jazz width neck & what do the controls do?
It is a jazz width neck and the pots, starting with the one closest to the neck and working backward, are as follows; 1. Volume Push/Pull - activates/de-activates the active circuitry 2. Pickup balance 3. Treble 4. Bass Further there is a toggle switch which splits the humbucker (bridge pickup) to a single coil pickup. Hope this helps.
 7.
I'm a pick player and try as I might I couldn't get the Miller to sound right, far to much top end and honk for me.
I'm completely the opposite as a finger player (and indeed find it difficult to play with a pick) but each to their own. Somehow it's the LOOK of the white miller that appeals as I know I can get the sound I like from it, and I admit that might not be the right reason to get rid of the Sandberg.........but what the hell!
 8.
I know only too well how it feels to get a case of GAS...but in all honesty the Sandberg is a lot more of a bass than the Fender MM (sorry MM owners!). Keep the Sandberg!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't doubt you're wisdom, and I must admit it really is a gorgeous bass in every way. That said, I have a Mex Jazz Deluxe with a J-Retro which I just keep picking back up, and it's certainly equal to the Sandberg in terms of tone range and has a gorgeous neck. Perhaps if no-one comes forward with the right offer (and I'm in no hurry) I'll just keep it, sell a few other things, and buy a used Miller as well!.......don't tell the missus I said that tho'!
 9. I'm looking for a TRADE for a Marcus Miller 4 string Jazz Bass (with cash adjustment), which MUST be in WHITE (I know, fussy aren't I!) The Sandberg is in PRISTINE condition and plays & sounds as you would expect........awesome! But I've wanted a Miller Jazz for some time now for a "KEEPER". Anyone in the frame? The site's picture uploader appears not to be working at the moment?????? So if you can offer what I'm looking for, drop me a line and I'll send you an image. Alternatively, would sell for £750 Cheers Rowley
 10. Mr Fretbuzz, I used, until recently, a Mag 600 head with a 2x10 & 1x15 Ashdown cabs, both 8 Ohm. Gave me the Flexibility to only use one cab at smaller gigs, but PLENTY of oomph! at larger ones with both. Worked well. If you're lloking for a 600 head I have one for sale. Take a look at the following link. 11.
Congrats dude, another convert! feels good don't it........ Was it from Mikeh by any chance?
It was indeed from Mikeh. Traded for my Status S3000 headless. I always thought the Status was a "Keeper", but it's definitely been replaced in that respect by the Sandberg. Awesome.
 12. Hmmm......if an expectation of common courtesy makes me sad, then I'm guilty as charged Perhaps some people just view common courtesy as "beneath" them??? So much for acting within the spririt of the community! I promise not to lose much sleep over it.
 13. Hazbeen, I don't believe I commented on whether the price was too high or not, but it's generally regarded, within the community, to be bad form to buy something from another BC'er and profit from it. I sold this to Mike earlier this year and even left him some positive feedback in relation to the dealings.......just looking for the same courtesy in the spirit of the community. Surely that's not too much to ask? Maybe I'll edit the feedback to reflect the experience, keeping it factual of course? Have a bump on me Mike.
 14. Just acquired my California JM4 from a fellow BC'er........love it! Sounds great through the TC rig too.
 15.
...Don't believe I've ever 'cleared a profit' on any item I bought and resold via BC..
Well, this will be your first one if you achieve the asking price.....
 16. Please be sure to leave me some feedback relating to when you purchased this from me earlier this year when you've cleared a profit if you'd be so kind........
 17. Just traded my Status Graphite S3000 with Mike. A thoroughly' all round good egg! A pleasure to deal with, spot on communication, and turned up when he said he would. What more could you ask for? Cheers Mike. Rowley
