Schaller machine heads with ferrules (no screws) - original box - in excellent condition - all chrome is good! no pitting!!! Schaller logo embossed on each piece set of 4 - easily reversible Good for Musicman basses and similar. - ok for some Fenders too (the stem is short as per Musicman) These were mounted on a Mighty Mite Jazz Bass neck and worked great!! £35 + post sorry my pix aren't great.
Most of these descriptions are subjective (like AAAA maple top etc. - oh yeah, on whos scale?) and are pretty much in the eye of the beholder. And as we can see the wood and angle of cut on yours has definitely produced some nice figuring plus you are doubly lucky in that both pieces used have a complimentary figuring (EBMM tend not to bookmatch their wood) that has come out on the front producing an all over flamed appearance. If it were a flamed billet custom job you'd be looking at double the price.
hang on...both pieces?....this bass is only one piece as far as I can make out

hi, I have a Fender P hotrod with Barts or my Stingray for trade if your interested. What model is this bass by the way? Overwater have exotic names for different series, but I couldn't match any of them to yours. here's the links to my posts: Stingray: http://basschat.co.uk/topic/161109-musicman-eb-stingray-4-3-band-eq-for-sale-or-swap-for-a-5er-or-a-jaco-fretless/ Fender:http://basschat.co.uk/topic/161718-fender-usa-precision-hotrod-bartolini-upgrade-original-case/ -
It's nice that BB2000 made this comment and has failed to even apologise.. It could have been done via PM first as already mentioned... anyway.. these bass are lovely.. Where are you based? I'm tempted
Moderators did offer to have it removed but I don't mind any comments if it gives interested parties an honest overview. I'm in Essex, about 25 miles east of the M25 I occasionally have sessions in London. Working in Exeter in February hope that helps
