[b]Hi Mike i have a 924 and love it its the only bass i can get every sound i want trouble is its a bit heavey but apart from that one of the best basses i have ever had and iv got a ricky a precision a musicman 2 warwicks 2 ibezez a yamaha and loads more if i get any problems with any of my basses i go to Musicscene mansfiedl a guy picks guitars up every tuesday and satday and does a fantastic job at a very cheap price the no is 01623 631174 it might be a long way to come but he really is good also another guy who repairs amps ect is a guy called dave ball 0115 9113964 both of these are first class , hope this helps.[/b]

Hi must say i used to have Epis and must admit they were very good but the markbass to me is one of the best amps and cabs on the market and every time i here a good band they mostly use markbass as for my combo i never struggle with volume and thats playing in a rock band with guitarist using marshall stacks and only know one volume and that is max volume, but every bass player is different and we all have our own opinions so i say whatever your happy with just use it. [b]Tell you something lozz the more you use it the more you will like it i play in a rock and roll band and get the perfect sond from my combo i also play in a rock band with both guitarist using marshall stacks and a drummer who thinks hes building a shed and when i first used my markbass they could not believe it i cut threw the guitars like no ones business people at the front saying how good it sounds and people at the back telling me the same thing.Iv got loads of gear ashdown combo peavey combo ampeg stack and since getting my markbass the rest of the gear stops in my workshop gathering dust .Good luck with your new gear mate .[/b]

[i]Got to agree with all you markbass fans iv always swore by my ampeg stack but a few months ago one of my mates was playing in his band and using markbass there was loads of musos wacthing and at least 4 bass players and we all said how good it sounded.I went out and bought a 2x10 combo and liked it that much i went out and bought a 151hf cab and cant believe the sound .The other good thing about my combo is i can carry it in one hand and my bass in the other not bad for an old 5 foot weaklin.[/i]

[i]hi iv just bought a rick 4003 and got to say it plays really well but iv always played fenders and just love em but a few weeks ago i bought a musicman and got to say how suprised i was at how good they are so all i can say is before you buy a rick try a musicman ,saying that i still love my precision but its horses for corses .Good luck to you all whatever you buy.[/i]

[i]markbass gear terrific iv got a ampeg stack a ashdown comb a peavey combo and loads of gear iv tried em all i now use a markbass 2x10 combo and when our guitarist both of them come with there marshall stacks and our drummer who thinks hes building a shed crack up i cut straight threw them no probs and if we get a really big gig i put my markbass 151hf markbass cab with it awsome gear if you get a amp at 8 0hms ad another 8 ohm cab and you go down to 4 ohms al most doubling your output. try markbass before you buy you wont want anything else.Good luck with whatever you buy.[/i]

[i]go for the ibenez or a yamaha they are great value for money i have a rickenbacker a fender precision usa a musicman 2 warwicks aria 2 ibenez basses and a sh*t load more but the little cheap yamaha is one of my favourites and when im working out a song thats what i use also when i go to practice with my band i often take my ibenez and all the lads tell me how great it sounds try them and see .
