    I did some digging on the dragonfly too. Hard to find in Hingerland. After reading tons of info I came to the conclusion that, once you TIC the hassle of sourcing a 5, it was not that much of an upgrade from the Crafter BA580 I was playing at the time. I bought a Godin a5 instead.

    I play in an acoustic band so at the moment swap between bass and acoustic guitar/mandola. I have just bought an electric guitar (Godin Solidac) as I'm putting together a post-rock band with another mate, we will swap between bass and guitar duties so for each song one of us will be on bass, the other guitar. I used to be exclusively bass but realise these days that, despite my claimed love of bass exclusivity, the real reason for not stepping out to other instruments was a lack of cash! If it wasn't for the expenditure I would have bought a guitar rig years ago. As I've got older I've realised its fun to mash it up a bit playing-wise.

    Having just discovered this wonderful site and still up suffering a from a sore gut :-( fishing for pity :-( I figure this must be the best place to see if anyone wants to do a swap: my Ernie Ball Musicman 5, teal w/ maple neck 3 band eq for a stingray 4 or other similar worth 4-string (preferably active) bass guitar. The bass is about 8 years old but in very good condition. I will post pictures at a less ungodly hour. PM me if interested? I am based in the North East. Hooray
