1. Sold some strap locks to Kongo. He paid immediately. Pleasure to deal with.
 2. Hi Aaron Here are the measurements: HEAD W: 17.5" H: 8" D: 9" CAB W: 17.5" H: 23" D: 10" The low depth measurements making carrying this stuff a doddle. The height of the cab makes up for the short depth as there's plenty of space in the cab for the speakers to produce plenty of bottom end. Plus this way it projects better on stage rather than a low cab with a large depth. I hope this makes sense. Nick
 3.
I also used to have the older one, it's a really clear loud sound for such a small amp. I think having both speakers in one cab will make it easier to transport aswell. If only I hadn't upgraded :/
Ye, it's pretty loud for it's size and has plenty of bottom end. The deep switch adds some nice sub frequencies which make it fill a room with a big sound. Having both speakers in one cab seems to make it go deeper and louder than the single speaker cab 60w versions. The cab weighs: 17Kg and the Head 10Kg so it's a lot easier to carry than the Five Fifteen Combo that weighs 26Kg.

 11. Hi Mark, I think the lack of movement is partially due to the bass being sat towards my right leg as I was sitting down. You could try: > moving your bass to the right of your body so the 1st fret is not so much of a stretch, > adjusting your strap so your bass is at the same height sat down and standing up, > A bass with a thin neck such as a Jazz or Ibanez SR series bass > Try applying minimal pressure on notes to avoid muscle fatigue I think your point about 'the right' bass is relevant. I think the best suggestion is to try as many as possible before buying one rather than going on specs. alone. I hope one of the above work. Cheers Nick
Great stuff Nick - why didnt my early stages sound like that ? Watching your youtube video's and thinking about technique and position, your left hand elbow hardly moves away from your body even when playing right down at fret 1, position is really over looked by many players until cramp sets in, for the shorter arms should we move the bass so we can reach fret 1 without lifting our arm away or is short scale the answer? raises an interesting question - which bass ? We tend to choose ones because of sound, look, tone etc but do we choose them on "fit" ? Mark.
12. Hi, Here are some initial videos I've posted on YouTube. They give a demo of one of the improvisation pieces in the RGT bass grades. Sorry for the basic audio quality. The camcorder I used doesn't have an external mic input. Feel free to post questions about each video via YouTube. E.g. Diatonic / Non Diatonic Arpegios played in each video, Key Signature, Techniques etc.. 14. Korg AX10B Multi Effects Unit Hi, I'm parting with this as I have another Korg Multi Effects Unit. I bought this in case the other packed in but I've never needed to gig with this one. It comes in as new condition with batteries & the manual. Unfortunately these units don't come with an adapter however most 9v regulated ones will do. It received a very good review from the bassist magazine for: ease of use, quality of sounds and value for money. The manual is very short and to the point (about 6 pages) and the unit is a doddle to operate. For more info see: Korg AX10B £45 + £6 P&P

 18.
Hi Nick, how much for the cover buddy? A
Hi there, Again this one's unused too due to the fiasco mentioned in the first post above. I paid £47.56 for it (have a look at the Silverstone amp covers site). It looks a bit creased as it's been folded and put away but will smooth out when its put back on a B200. I'll let it go for £35 saving you over £13 new & post it to you free. Cheers Nick
 19. Here is some more info on the casters as requested: The basic measurements are: 4cm length 1 cm width The shafts are cone shaped so are a midges below 1 cm at the top and and a fraction more right at the bottom. However where they clip into place they are exactly 1 cm. I guess it's part of the design to making fitting them and removing them easier. I've included the receipt as I was shocked how much they cost when I ordered them from Ampeg's spares distrubutor. As they are unused and cost me a whoping £38.77 (see pic) I can save you over a tenner & post them to you free for £28. Cheers Nick
 20. Hi This is just a feeler to see if anyone is interested in: > 4 removable castors that fit the larger Bass Amp series combos or the B200 Rocket combo, SOLD > An unused matching vintage navy blue amp cover for the B200R combo made by Silverstone Amp covers. SOLD To cut a long story short I ordered a B200R last year from a retail outlet whose name I won't mention to preserve their reputation. When the amp arrived it was sweet and I promptly ordered the castors and cover. Within a few weeks it developed two faults: 1) the chassis became loose and 2) the amp starting distorting. I sent it back and waited two & a half months (yes that's right, that long) for it to be sent back from Loud Technologies. When it came back it was worse than when it went. It hadn't been packaged properly, and had large scracthes down the back of the combo from a tear in the box. Plus it looked like someone had been throwing it around as there were loose parts in the amp and unsuprisingly the sound sucked. I called the 'retail outlet' and promptly asked for my money back, and thankfully they agreed without any hassle. Sorry for my rant, I feel mildly better for sharing my dismay about Loud Technologies. Any questions just ask Nick

 22. Hi all, Please note I've updated the initial thread with a new website link. This is still being developed and I look forward to adding more to it soon. Also I have attached the RGT Bass Guitar booklet which gives you an overview of the grades and helps to plan lessons. It is well structured and gives students an idea of where their playing level may be at present. If you have any questions feel free to ask. Cheers Nick
