Hi, thanks for your question. Like alot of manufacturers it's a bit exagerated. It's 900W peak bridged into 8 ohms. It can deliver 250W RMS per side at 4ohms or 165w at 8 0hms. You can set it up to deliver 250W to FOH & monitors or the full 500W to FOH and send a mono signal to a separate amplifier to power the monitors. Clear as mud??? ;-) I hope that helps.
