1.
Given that these conditions are subjective and somewhat mutually exclusive ... I can say that at £70 ish from Thomann the Ibanez certainly meets the price criteria. It's pretty tough and secure, 3 years of regular use and no zip or stitching issues yet. It's a bit heavy when full (but has wheels and a good selection of handles) and the pockets are tempting so lots goes in them ... However it score highly on value for money.
Yes, I think the Ibanez has the edge. Thanks !
2.
I really like my Ibanez one http://www.thomann.de/gb/ibanez_double_bag_trolley_ebass.htm
That does look really good. I'll have a look around to see if they're available over here. Thanks !
3. Can anyone recommend a good reasonably priced double gigbag ? Not too expensive ! But good quality.

5. I've had loads of hats off these guys, they're excellent quality hats, and they provide unbeaten service.
6.
Tom sold one in 29 minutes last week and I may end up doing so but I am intrigued at what is on offer first.
And what a beautiful bass it was too, it sounds and looks great !
7. I got it for £29 in the end from Jazzwise. Thanks for all of your advice everyone !
8. Did you win the one that ended at 12.30'ish Saturday night/Sunday morning, the natural ash one ?

11. Anyone know of any books with latin tunes transcribed in standard notation, NOT tab. I want to practice my reading of latin tunes for some upcoming gigs. Thanks

13. Some photos, and yes that is the original label still attached ! It's practically as new, I can't even see any damage to the corner protectors. I've always transported it inside the padded cover.
14. In excellent condition, complete with an Epifani padded cover. £250 plus postage. Photos later.
15. The LM2 is in near perfect condition, the only marks are on the bottom where the handle of my cab has scratched it, but the top and front are 'as new'. It comes with a Gigskinz bag from Bassdirect. I'd like £350 including postage.
16. This bass has been passed around a bit recently, I'm the third owner in about three months. I don't really know why, because it's a really great bass, both soundwise, to play and in looks. I'm only selling it because I already have two other jazz basses with rosewood fretboards, and I've just bought a Marcus Miller signature bass. I should point out that this may already be sold, but I'm going to advertise it anyway in case that sale falls through. The bass has a great low action and is currently fitted with DR Lo-rider nickel strings. It comes with a good quality gig bag. Personal collection from Birmingham is preferred, but I will post if absolutely necessary. I've had it set up since I bought it, and it now has a tortoiseshell pickguard fitted to it. I still have the original black one that will accompany the sale. It also has a chrome pickup cover fitted to it for the 'Marcus' look. I'd like £595 plus shipping for it. Trades welcome for a 5 string Musicman (plus cash from me). I'd prefer white or sunburst. Or an Aguilar AG500 or AG500SC. I'm going to be playing on a cruise ship from the middle of next month, so I'd like to get a deal sorted out before then.
17. Fancy a part trade for a Markbass LM2 and an Epi UL112. I'd only want the one GS112. Very lightweight, I have a trolley that it fits on. I've taken it on the London tube loads of time to gigs.

19.
Man, I have an all original 1975 Jazz (black/black maple) that I thought I would never sell but after playing one of these at the Gallery I'm starting to question myself!
I'm very interested in trades for vintage 70's jazz basses .
