1. Still available, we confirmed that it wouldnt take a four bolt Stingray Graphite neck !!
2. Thats a great price for a great little amp - bump from an owner
3. Hi, It has a pretty decent range of preset sounds and you can manage these with a USB-MIDI lead and the Korg software that you can get by googling NSR5. Or you can manage the sounds (delay attack etc etc) by the front panel of the device. You can control it with a MIDI keyboard. Effectively thats what my basspedals (see separate ad) do. Replied to your PM re price. Cheers, John
4. 36 hour bump. Rather not eBay if it can be avoided. Make me a (sensible) offer.

6. I bought this bass in April/May this year from Jose (mcnach), and since then a couple of things happened. 1. I was after the Stingray sound for the band I was playing with at the time and because of the modifications, this bass does it pretty well. However I found the neck very wide after my Jazz. 42mm at the nut. 2. That could have been overcome with practice, however since then, the band I was with broke up and I've decided to go back to my Fender Jazz as my "go to" instrument. So I am offering this for sale for what I paid for it. I have (with Jose's permission), "borrowed" a couple of his photos, but I have some of my own and can send them on request. I never gigged this, only rehearsed a couple of times, so its in the same condition as when I received it. Its a much modified OLP MM 4 string The original electronics are all gone. The pickup is now an alnico Seymour Duncan SMB4A, wired in parallel, Stingray style. Electronics are Seymour Duncan STC3M3 3-band preamp, their Stingray model. Battery access via the cavity on the rear of the bass and within the vcavity you can find a trim pot thath controls where the tone cut off occurs, thus allowing a wide variety of tones. Its a powerful bass, much more powerful than my Jazz if the truth be known. According to Jose, the bass was set up by Rory Dowling, luthier and founder of Taran Guitars in Edinburgh and the fretwork is perfect. Rory also rolled the edge of the fretboard so it has none of the rough edges that you sometimes find in off the shelf OLPs. The bass is currently strung with a pretty fresh set of D'Addario XL170 (45-100) and mid-low action. I havent adjusted it since buying it from Jose. I am looking for £200 which is what I paid for it. Yes its more than the stock OLP, but this is a lot of bass for the money. Pictures borrowed from Jose's original listing...any questions please let me know. Cheers, John
7. Never got round to eBay, trying a final Bump. Note price drop on the Bass pedals too. Will take £300 posted for both.
8.
Can you pm me some pics, I'm not too familiar with OLP basses, thanks Andy
Can you PM me your email? I was away this weekend, but I did get the chance to take some pics last night.
9. Hi, Would you be interested in a trade for a fretted OLP MM four string. Upgraded with Seymour Duncan pickups and pre-amp. I bought it from BC and cant get along with it because the neck is too wide. Would be cash your way, Cheers, John
10. Mapleglo Retriever ! I like the Black Labs too, and Basil is one of the best.
11. Lovely Lab. Colour not for me, but have a bump

13. No manual, but you can download that and the software from the Korg website. Demo here on YouTube: Cheers, John
14. Hi, I bought these recently from another BCer and just after that my band folded - everyone going their separate ways. So I dont need these anymore. I never got the chance to gig them and only used them in a couple of rehearsals so I am offering them at what I paid for them. I live in Taunton and work in London so can offer collection from either place. Heres a link to the previous owner's for sale thread... http://basschat.co.u...__fromsearch__1 It comes with power supply and gig bag. I will also throw in an extra long MIDI cable. You can connect to any Synth and use these to control it. They are great if you dont have a keyboard player in your band. For example, prior to our split, I rehearsed Cee-lo Green's Forget You and was able to do the strings and organ fills in the verses with it and with a bit of dexterity, some judicous layering in the bass solo bit. Even if you do have a keyboard player you can get some serious low end. I also used them for the low drone notes on New Order's Regret. Good too for Genesis covers, although sadly we never got to do any of those! Any questions please ask... Cheers, John
15. Do you have a price in mind for an outright sale? Cheers

19. Hi all, I bought this from Dan (Dbass) a few months back and although I love it to bits and the sound is perfect for me, I just cant get along with the small body. So I am going back to a Streamer and putting this one up for sale. I bought it at a really fabulous price from Dan and am offering it up at exactly what I paid for it. £550, collected from my home in Worcester Park, Surrey. I work in Central London and can meet up within reason in the London area for the cost of fuel. I have relatives in the West Country and the North West so plenty of options there. I will post at cost to the buyer, but I hate posting basses so would rather not if it can be avoided. Link to Dan's original thread here with the details. In summary, Warwick Thumb Bolt on, 2003 model, Bartolini Pickups and Nordstrand preamp. Comes with Trussrod and Warwick wax. Fairly new set of DR Highbeams. I have the original pre-amp too which is included in the sale. Also a fairly tatty gigbag, for transportation. Cheers, John Link to Dan's original for sale thread here.
