1. Hmmm, OK, I will think, thanks.
2. How much to post to stoke?
3. have a look at dv247.com, they have a lot of interfaces, USB and Firewire. I'm not sure what your exact requirements are but you should be able to find something on there. If it's too expensive keep an eye out on the for sale forum. I've seen some really good deals on interfaces on here in the past.
4. yeh, nice one, you could probably fit one of those little clean blender on there as well, it should give you more punch. You know if you plug into the other output on the echohead, the delays fade out even after you've turned off the pedal, which sounds more natural to me.
5. I'm powering it using a godlyke powerall. I get the impression that it's true bypass, but i'm not sure if i've tried it with no power. I couldn't find a battery compartment on it. I don't really want to ask the guy I bought it off, as it would seem like i'm accusing him of selling me a dud after i'd already received everything and told him it was OK (without checking, what an idiot). Ta for the reply, if anyone thinks this would be more appropriate in another area, please say so, 'cos I could do with getting this going!
6.
Hole sale.
7. Basically, if there's a jack in the input, the LED is on, no matter what you do with the footswitch. It doesn't seem to make any difference in tone so I guess it's bypassed? But with the LED on. It's been like this since I got it (used off here), I stupidly left it too long to test it after receiving it. (3 weeks) Any ideas?
8.
'clock' inside my head
Actually, maybe it's that i'm using, and it's guided by the hats. When i play drums, my right hand is the clock in my head.
9.
Time from the kick, feel from the hats?
I don't really know, it's difficult for me to differentiate between time and feeling. The kick has more of a bearing on what i'm going to play, than it does on my "feel", so in a way, yes E.G I might write a bassline that is synched to the kick and snare pattern, but when i'm playing that line, even though it's "locked in" i'm still "feeling" the hats. Talking about performing music can get pretty vague and confusing!
10. It's not that I concentrate on the right hand, it's just that I think that's where I get my "feel" from.
11. Hi Hats or just right hand in general, yeh, that's what i'm listening to.
12.
What I want to do is have two wahs and two drives, one of each running parallel in each loop, and blend them. But the volume problem arises when I want just one distortion on. I can get what I want if I just use the blended loop for the purpose of drive/wah but I want to be able to use other effects in the loops individually without having to go mad knob twiddling.
Like this? loop A wah OD loop B wah OD chorus phaser fuzz flange A+B blended. I don't understand why you'd have a problem, I do a very similar thing with my LS-2, you just have to set all your pedal volumes right.
13. Stick a HD in there and sell it as a full system!
14. I really like your designs
15. That's pretty cool, but, if you wanted all that flexibility, wouldn't you just buy a programmable pre-amp/multi effects unit?
16. I'd guess it was the guitar amp. The other way round would be a bit illogical.
17. I'd like criticism about my band(s). I don't think anyone's ever given me anything other than positive feedback, which is no good other than for an ego boost.
18. I can change strings on the day as long as I stretch them, the same as for a guitar.
19. Bang on OG. The ammount of times i've told the bassist how bad the drummer was and he just says "nout I can do"...
20. I normally hate basses with the spikey bit at the bottom, but I love that!
21.
I always found Cantdosleepy and Paul, the very entertaining but they haven't been on here for a long time.
Indeed! I wonder where they are
22. I bought 2 M-Audio delta 1010lt cards for about £60 each, and a sh*t 24 channel mixer for £30, which means I can record up to 20 tracks simultaneously for £150 (plus mics and cables, stands etc etc).
23. have you seen the thread at the top of this forum?
24.
....they do change the angle of dangle of the bass....
I've never checked my dangle angle. What's the optimum dangle angle? Any books on the subject of the dangle angle? Sorry, this phrase is my new love.
25. If you get a refund you could use your cash to better effect buying used here on the forum.
