1. Y'all should check out the Sonuus Wahoo. It does literally everything. Everything can be edited/customised, and the software is pretty easy to use once you get going. I just guess their marketing just isn't great? I've got one and it's an awesome pedal! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RusRDyCT3W8&t=638s
 2. I'd just be quite intetested in a shortscale Jag with a mudbucker and nice bridge pickup! Looks like a neat bass in it's own right
 3.
Don't mind a bit of RB, but it's all a bit samey. On the gear front, and in consideration that he's now in the warm embrace of the Fender custom shop, I'm suprised he hasn't gone with some kind of stereo/Rick-o-sound thing on the basses rather than splitting his output signal via crossovers and various Pog-type pedals.
I guess he's quite happy with his pedalboard set up, and he'd still need a switch to mute the various channels anyway, so it's just more cables hanging off your bass in the end! It'd be interesting, if they did do a dual output, if they could built a POG into the one of them, with maybe a killswitch? Could run off a 9V like an active bass. It just gets complicated haha!
 4. Just wondered if anyone had noticed Mike's new Fender Jaguars? Looks like a wide-range humbucker as per their telecaster bass models with an extra bridge pup on the red model. Would be very interesting if they made a signature model. Shortscale Jag with a mudbucker. The black sparkle finish is the rather nice too!
 5.
If I were a guitarist.... looks amazing

There is no way I could ever use this in any meaningful way. I still fancy it though.
Thanks chaps! Kind of in the same boat haha, I don't play guitar enough and it's just sat here! It needs some loving.
 6. NOW ONLY £675! Up for sale is a rather rare and unique guitar! One of the first of Leo Fender's new designs for his last guitar company, made in the G&L Factory on Fender Avenue, California between 1981-82. Featuring incredibly dynamic and detailed original Magnetic Field Design humbuckers, passive treble and bass cuts, three-way selector, phase switch and coil tap. Also, it's incredibly yellow! G&L was Leo's 'hobbyshop', started in 1980 after moving on from MusicMan; never really intended for massive sales but instead for making real quality instruments. This is very much evident in this guitar. It absolutely sings in every combination of the controls, which is an amazing thing for an instrument with so much versatility built and consequently so many different voices. This is a real player's guitar, so it's been sold in the hope that someone can go out and gig it, instead of it being cooped up in the studio. Drop me a message if you'd like any more info or pictures. Comes with a gigbag. No trades please, sorry! Thanks! Ben
 7. Bump! Cash offers most welcome
 8.
Are you interested in any trades?
I'm really really after cash at the moment, but I'm always open to potential trades
 9. Bump! Forgot this was here! Still for sale
 10.
I keep looking at this in the hope it is sold. I don't need it but I want it.
No offers on it yet It's a good little pedal though, as well as live stuff it's great for composing ideas too
 11. Open to offers!
 12.
I have one with the Keeley Seeing Eye mod. They really shine when paired with a Tube Screamer based OD.
That mod sounds neat! Never thought of tinkering with it like that! Sold pending though unfortunately haha!
 13. The world's tiniest, simple looper pedal. Output level, record level, tempo. It can record up to 15 mins with unlimited overdubs and saves your last loop when you switch it off. If you want a little looper addition to your board, this is the one! And it's adorable. (See photos for scale) Hotone aren't a massive brand, here's more info from them: http://www.hotoneaud...pstation/7.html It's owned from new and has been mostly kept safe in it's box (Christmas present that I never got to use - looping isn't my thing and you might notice I'm also selling a Ditto X2 looper and Flashback X4 delay/looper!)
 14. Good old Boss DS-1! Never really used, lived most of it's life it's box! Comes with original box, paperwork and even the original receipt! Give it a few years and these will be vintage classics! Or just pick up a great DS-1 for £20 posted Thanks!

It's a great delay and looper with 4 easily-programmable presets but I'm not gigging with the pedalboard anymore and I need to make some savings! TC Electronic's Toneprint makes completely changing sounds and fine-tuning them really quick and easy too. It's in excellent condition and comes with the box too, instructions and USB cable! Thanks!
 16. Hi I'm selling my Ditto X2! It's probably the easiest-to-use looper out there with some neat features but I'm not gigging with the pedalboard anymore and I need to make some savings! Stereo inputs/outputs and reverse/half-speed effects. I've owned it from new and it's lived safe and sound in a flight-cased pedalboard, and I do believe I have the box too Thanks!

 18. Hi I'm selling my Aguilar Octamizer! It's my favourite octave pedal ever but I'm not gigging with the pedalboard anymore and I need to make some savings! I've owned it from new and it's lived safe and sound in a flight-cased pedalboard! Separate dry and octave output levels and tone controls! 19. Hi I'm selling my Tech 21 VT Bass Deluxe! It's fantastic but I'm not gigging with the pedalboard anymore and I need to make some savings! This is the bassist's multitool. I've owned it from new and it's lived safe and sound in a flight-cased pedalboard. I believe I still have the box and the instructions etc that came with it. If you don't know about this pedal, it's a programmable version of the VT Bass pedal, which is a really powerful pre-amp/classic valve amp emulator which has two inputs (for switching between two basses) and a total of six custom presets (two banks of three under each input, but you can use all six on the one input). It's actually really easy to use. You just set up the controls how you want them then double-tap the footswitch you want to save it under. It also has a parallel dry output and an XLR output with a pad. I also has an effects loop which can be programmed on/off with the presets. It also runs off a 9v battery, 9v power supply OR phantom power via the XLR input. I miss gigging with it, but it's sat in it's case for too long and needs some love. Let me know if you need any more pics
 20.
The very same. Quite expensive but worth every penny IMO. There is a whole thread on them somewhere.

I've used roundwounds, flats and harf-rounds on my G&L's and Stingrays and have now abandoned the rounds completley. I mention both basses because both are really good at cutting though in the mix and therefore retain some of that "zing" quality. Having said that you will need to be willing adjust your EQ settings to dial it back in. Also I can get half rounds to sound like roundwounds but flats will always sound like flats IMHO It is also worth noting that flats can vary a great deal. Fenders start fairly bight but then darken a bit with time, the Ernie Balls that I have on my L1505 are quite dark sounding and give a great dubby sound. If you want to retain the ultimate zing go for half-rounds. Chromes or Rotosounds flats that are at the brighter end of the scale and very consistent over time. Have fun!

When I had a G&L 2500, I used Thomastik Jazz Flats and found them to be excellent.
Thanks for the knowledge guys! The Thomastiks sound great but I think I'm leaning towards the Slinky Flatwounds on the G&L for the extra top-end for those gospel-groove times. Thomastiks on the P-bass though, mmm... This guy's got me pretty convinced. https://www.youtube....h?v=HI2CgGaKKqI Warm and solid but with a good bit of zing. The compression helps but I have that too!
 21.
Go a for a set of EB Cobalts, best of both worlds.
These ones? https://www.ernieball.com/guitar-strings/bass-strings/slinky-flatwound-electric-bass-strings#P02812 They look pretty good!
