Ok I would like to have an LM 4-string, ASH, but with a Rosewood neck instead of the maple neck ..... did you ever see such an AC bass ? I would trade for sth else or pay cash for a second hand one.....

Hi check out the truss rod, and the preamp....a lot of old preamps ( 76 and 77) are burning down.... personally, i prefer late 79 models with non-epoxy preamp and the bigger neck version ....( less problems with the neck ) in fact , i NEVER had a pre ernie with the bigger neck making any problems. The slimmer neck version on pre ernies sometimes have neck problems... Leo was using 5-6 different preamp models, there are several pre ernies around which sound very strange due to the different preamps used I am selling 1-2 79' stingrays , so PM me for further details .

Hi, I have the same with maple neck, these 78' heavy weight basses have a lot of bottom.... I am selling mine, because I prefer a rosewood neck..and a little bit less of weight .it's a shame your's is as heavy as mine....
