Had a couple of BC'ers interested in this prevously (via 'items wanted') but still here, so thought it worth a try (.. maybe should have done this B4 Xmas ?!!). Encore 30" scale (short-scale) 'Precision' bass: bought for my son who has moved on to a longer scale (if he gets back into it at all). Condition is good overall - no serious marks on the bass and it's possible to get a decent action & sound. Very lightweight. Rosewood fretboard. Volume + Tone. Comes c/w a kosher Levy's CM7 'Gibson' gig-bag: as usual, very nicely made & padded. the bass fits into this very snugly (as it's a Guitar gig-bag). I would sell this separately if wanted. Difficult to price as the Encore usually comes as part of an 'Outfit' (complete with basic bag, stand, strap, lead, tuner and 10w amp) @189 or thereabouts. NOW SOLD !!! One photo shows bass with full (34") J bass for scale/size.

Thanks Ady! .. thank goodness somebody has a decent memory: there you go John, if Oct. 07 sounds about right then you would have bought it from Ady/ebay. +1 on Ady's comments on the lightness/0-dead spots (in addition to what's been said before). Remains an excellent & uncommon bass .. at a very good price.
