alternatively you might want to check that the output jack isn't shorting against the cavity shielding - those control routings are far from generous.
but that wouldnt jus start happening for no reason would it?
battery has been changed, no difference
i cnt try it through different amps, but i doubt that is the issue
how much would this cost to fix? as i say i have minimal guitar knowledge, so i couldnt do it myself, anyone fix it for me? or anyone know of any good honest guitar repair places in the widnes area? (near liverpool, warrington) -
my whammy is fine for me when its bypassed, but it is first in chain so that wouldnt mess with my effects anyways...
so youve had a dd-20 after a fuzz, and it hasnt sucked any tone? -
but how is the bypass on it?
when i put the other boss delays after my dha vt-2, even when bypassed it sucked all the tone of the vt-2 compeltly, and was unuseable unless i used an effect loop, and i dont want that
it did the same to my micro qtron and akai deep impact -
by quantity i meant too many features AND too many pound coins!

theres something wrong with the instrument jack on my musicman
sometimes when i plug in sound jus doesnt come out, either jus silence or a buzzing noise. it usually worked again if i jiggledd the cable round a bit, but its gettin worse and more frequent.
iv tried 6 different cables, and it does it with all of them, so iv dertermined its a problem with the guitar.
i opened it up and had a look, but i know nothing at all about electronics, all i could check is whether the wires were all soldered securly and everythin looked okay, which it did
any ideea what the problem is? i have no guitat luthiars near me at the moment -
hmm
but the dd-20 jus seems to have too much for my needs, sounds stupid i know, im just after quality, not quantity -
pm'd on dd-20
-
sugden is selling one for £100 so he's had a pm, but he's on holiday so iv got a week to consider others
anyone heard much about that carl martin red repeat or the new ehx #1 echo? -
what about this new ehx pedal?

hows the bypass on it? how transparant is it, particularly with fuzz?
-
okay due to me selling my ps-3, im looking to buy another delay, digital or analog not too fussy really
what im after though is something that colours your tone as little as possible, and is prefferably true bypass (if thats possible)
i find that all boss delays dont really fulfill either requirement, and colour my tone to hell when bypassed
any suggestions? my budget is around £80
i was looking at the carl martin red repeat -
possibly sold, pending payment

the bassist in a band called lazy J used one up until very recently, and he sounded awesome
cant say iv ever used one tho
i prefer single effects muchly, but i did start out with a zoom 506II -
Adding a 5th or octave with the Unibass is pretty poor unless you have the distortion turned up too. I don't rate the clean sound at all.
i cant think of a single pitch shifter than can do better as far as clean sound, and i own a WH-1 and a boss ps-3, and have previously used/owned several others -
It's a passive blend so it can cause issues with certain pedals.
how so? -
BUMP
paypal/cheque for £90, or interested in trades for another delay, prefferably not boss -
owch unlucky, i did think it was a bit unlikely that the old stock would last this long tho, guess i was right
-
have to say that is fairly sh*te photoshopping tbh haha
-
my looper arrived today, the orange box in the pic, and i couldnt be more pleased with it
-
the completed board (money and space being my restrictions ):
vintage family shot:
-
certainly the unibass id say, if you dont need the whammy treadle
they are still selling for £79.99 at some shop i think, buy it now before they run out and the prices soar in the same stupid way the deep impact's did -
how much dya reckon the pedal will be dave my man?
-
Feedback for Kev's great bass gear exchange, please let me know how it was for you!

this may sound crazy, but is there anyone who could possibly send me there dd-20 so i can try it out? theres no gutiar shops that stock it anywer near me, and i dont fancy takin my whole board down there anyways, i just have a feelin its gunna do the same as the ps-3 did, specially if it has the same bypass
