bsw wont shift up

    the unibass wont shift down

they arnt readily availbale, the last stock in the uk were sold a few weeks back from planet of sound i think

they are like double in america, so ebay would be the only way, expect around £100

  2. just like to say i decided to go the other way last month and sold my singles to get one of these, and i am SO happy with it and how flexible it is, as far as i can see theres no way il be goin back to singles anytime soon.

    BUMP

  3.
What's the Unibass? I've seen them on boards before but I've never played with one.
I was planning on picking up the Digitech BSW anyway because I heard its one of the best octave setting you can get for that sort of money.. At the moment I'm using a Sansamp for general tone sculpting and then a BP200 multi fx to add a little excitement to my playin. it was a great pedal to begin with, but now the quality of the fx is p*ssing me off and with my new job im looking to put together a nice little board
the unibass is pretty much the best octave up available for bass, perhaps only bettered by the pog, but iv never tried one.

also it can add a 4th below or a 5th above, which when mixed with distortion sounds fantastic.

the unibass does also have built in distortion, which is fairly sh*te and is strangely low in volume, so i never use it

  4.
I always run gain into filter. Gives awesome synthy tones.
you run big muffs into filters, and enjoy it??

the brown dog goin into the chunk filter is one thing, but a muff into a qtron? very different, and i really wouldnt go near the word synthy

  5.
I tried a Sub today in Sound Control for first time and I was pretty impressed, and if I remember rightly, your based in Widnes aren't you?

About the dodgy jack, what work would be needed and how much would it cost? (sorry I have no idea). For the price your asking I'm very tempted
iv been told all it would be is a simple jack replacement, costing next to nothing i would imagine, but i have no access to a soldering iron, nore do i have any electrical knowledge of the insides of the bass, so iv jus put up with it for now, i aint currently in a band so i jus keep the jack tight and it works okay

i was in widnes, however i am in bristol again now til next summer, at university.

pm me a price if your interested

  6.
the next week i'd want to sell a cort a6 ,last production,in perfect conditions, with hardshell case. here in uk,how much is a fair value?

i was thinking something like 420£ included trackable shipping! what do you think?
id take it off you for £200 plus a dha vt-2 dual custom bass...

  7.
It seems weird that you have the q-tron after distortion, as it wont have as much dynamics to react with.
ye i second that, tis very weird

its sometimes nice to have a very mild overdrive before a envelope though, gives it a nice bite

  8.
I'll take that as a no then. Musicians play with other people, playing with yourself is called masturbation. I think learning how to play with other people is much more important than learning to play with extra strings.

However, these days with You Tube masturbators can reach audiences of millions and i've even heard of them getting endorsements etc.
if i could find people to play with me, i would, but unfortunatly iv not found anyone in my area who is into my style of music

i still dont see why this means that i shouldnt have some fun n learn to play a 6 string

with your permission can we get back on topic and discuss budget 6 strings?

  9.
Ace Pro ABT-406 (check out www.ace-distribution.co.uk) - I went to the Birmingham based UK importers & played all the Ace-Pro's & was rather impressed... Look at this 6-stringer... 3 band active eq, through neck & lovely feel & sound. All for under £200 as well! Make sure you pay them a visit, though. Standard of finish can be a bit hit and miss, but definitely worth a look!
ye i talked bout them a while ago, talked myself out of it due to negative reviews

same goes for the peavey grind, terrible reviews of poor finishing on harmony etc

the hohner still seems to be top of the list at the mo, keep suggesting people
