Fantastic combo. I had one for a few years & served me well. Wish I had spare £ to buy this. GLWTS.
Cheers yes it's a great little combo and has immense tone for such a small package!
3. It's neither of the above possibly an Eclipse. You are right the price is a little high considering today's market - a shame as wooden neck Status basses are superb instruments.

Feedback for Harry

Bought a Little Mark amp off Harry - great amp great seller! Many thanks
6. There's a Goodmans on now http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/15-goodmans-250watt-speaker/251625225009?_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D25292%26meid%3D45c1b5695bae488bac87687d947cd411%26pid%3D100005%26prg%3D10621%26rk%3D3%26rkt%3D6%26sd%3D141380899229&rt=nc Nothing to do with me but certainly worth messaging to see if he's willing to post it. These are nice old speakers.
7. There are often Eminence speakers cheap on eBay new and secondhand in good condition, also it's worth keeping an eye open for old UK Fane Colossus and McKenzie drivers. If you aren't worried about weight and just want 'oomph' there are plenty of bargains out there. I've been thinking of converting a couple of old WEM Songbird cabs into a pair of small bass cabs as the drivers are long blown but I'm going to go down the super budget route and try some Soundlab drivers - if the worst comes to the worst they can always be used as passive vocal monitors.
8.
You must keep the Limelight, buy the P back and give them both to somebody of sound mind, to ensure they are properly looked after. Hmph, sound mind, didn't think that one through did I.
You were obviously thinking of me Karl..... Seriously nice P bass that Mark, you must not sell that Hayman though!
9. I've finally decided to sell my Markbass Mini Cmd 121 P combo. I bought the amp new and it has served me well over the past few years. It has never been abused and has been on back up duties for some time now but it's time to free up some cash. It's an Italian made combo 300 watts into 8ohms 500 with extension speaker. It is very loud and I've not needed to use the extension cab option with it. Great punchy Markbass sound and the benefits of a light weight cab and small footprint. It has recently been PAT tested and is in excellent cosmetic and working condition. I'd prefer it to be collected but since I still have the original box I can arrange a courier with basic insurance at buyers cost.
10. He or she will be charged fees on the postage too so why? Looks a lovely bass but I can't understand why he shoots himself in the foot with such a dreadful listing.
I managed to snag that prototype bass, will be collecting itin a few weeks once my 13 string is done. I've had my ups and downs with Jon, but everything is on track now and after having received a 5 string passive bass with the perspex pickup I can say that quality is not an issue, the bass is excellent. Now that communication is regular between us, I have no further issues with Jon. He does build some cracking basses...
Pleased you got things sorted and now have things on track, they are great basses especially considering their relatively low cost

I have a Hofner '64 Violin bass and an Epiphone Rivoli both have different tonal qualities from each other and sound great in different musical contexts - not for slap of course but the Violin can sound very funky ( just listen to Macca ). I had a Hofner Club too but didn't get on with the body shape.
18. I used a JV Squier Precision bass from around 1988 to 2006, I played it at hundreds of gigs and many recording sessions. It has been lost to me on two occasions - the first was when I foolishly left it in my student digs and on my return after the summer break found it had been removed, fortunately my landlord hadn't sold it but had unceremoniously dumped it under a load of junk whilst redecorating. Amazingly there was no major damage done despite it having no case. Years later it was superseded by a Status and kept as a backup bass and eventually I lent it to my nephew who learnt how to play on it. I remember when I was visiting my parents it used to be in the corner of my Dad's study where my nephew had left it when he was at school. He decided to buy his own Fender bass and because I hadn't used it in a while I sold it on eBay. I remember it was my first sale on eBay and it went to a buyer in Northern Ireland. Fast forward to January of this year when I spotted a very similar looking JV for sale on a site that was mentioned on this forum - Cotswald Bass Guitars. I exchanged emails and got some detailed pics to see some of the quirks to the finish as I had no record of the serial number. Happily it turned out to be mine so a deal was struck. After nearly 8 years it's returned to me and though I don't use it as my main instrument it's great to have that old bass back. What was funny was seeing the small repairs I'd made to the headstock where it had been badly chipped and the small wooden thumb rest that had been fitted by the original owner. A great bass that I'm very pleased to be reacquainted with.

20. This bridge is brand new purchased to fit on a recently sold Rick bass but it's never been used. It's very heavy and solid with a high quality chrome finish and fixing screws. These are great as you can accurately adjust intonation and action on individual strings and because of the design it gets rid of the dreaded Rick tail lift. No need to modify your bass either. Can post recorded delivery in the UK for an extra £5. Cheers
