    A really nice bb2000 has just gone up for sale on here. I don’t think it will be on for to long as they don’t come up for sale everyday. Unfortunately I’m all spent up bass wise for a while or it would have definitely been in my collection.

    The bass has been made into a fretless so it now has a epoxy coated ebony board.

    I might be trading my 1024x for one of my friends basses. But if for some reason the trade doesn’t work out I’m going to put it up for sale along with my Gretsch.

    When I eventually get a bb614 then I will put my orange bb414 up for sale. Has anyone had both basses is there much difference between the two?

    I have just taken a look at the NE2 in Pewter now that’s a tasty looking bass.

    Only 4 strings in my collection I’m afraid I don’t want to start collecting 5 strings. One I haven’t the room but the main reason is I think the wife go totally berserk.

    Yes and I’ll have a rather tasty Pewter 614 if I see a good one.

    It’s a good job the 614 is black if it was pewter I would of been in trouble.

    Personally I would never pay 5K for it or any other Yamaha they’re fantastic basses. But if I was going to spend 5K on a bass it would be something that’s going to hold it’s value something like a MK 1 Wal bass.
