As you know, Andy's a stand up guy. I bought a Behringer mixer off him. It arrived ASAP (after a wee bit of fannying about with PayPal - the swines), amazingly well packed and in top nick. He obviously looks after his kit as well as I do. All I can say is I'm plenty chuffed with the straight forward deal and pleasantly surprised at how well Behringer have done with this device. Yeah looks like it started out as a 5er. It's not an uncommon convertion given the right neck but that extra tuner positioned where it is probably won't take too many knocks before some serious repairs are needed.

[color="#808080"]quick update[/color] He's in Baguley, near Manc airport. Also he's told me that as the interest in both basses has been considerable, he's not budging with the prices.

He's emailed me back saying that he doesn't have any pics because he's not any good with a computer (?). He's invited me round to check it out but as I'm in Aberdeen that's a bit impractical. Markytbass, your profile says your from Mars which is a bit of a jog too but if you are local to him and want to check out the G&L (I presume you'll get a similar email to mine) could you have a look at the ZZB for me..... or if any other BC'ers in the vicinity for that matter.

Great price on the G&L. Do you know the guy or anything? I've contacted him about the ZZB.

I guess the obvious answer to your question is do you like how it sounds at the moment? I'd only put it back to stock if it sounded bad or if I was selling it on.

Man I bet xmas was fun in their house. He opens up his pressie expecting an old Fender only to find out she's blown £2000 (she says the RRP is £2269) on this. He's so miffed and disinterested with it that he gets her to put it on the bay rather than take it (or send) back to the shop where she bought it. I smell a rat.
