1. Yay!! It works a treat! Cheers for your help, guys
What's your favourite feature on the unit?? Anybody got any good tips/tricks which they have come across too??
I bypass all the effects on mine and just use it to improve my lines on songs we record during rehearsals using a Zoom h2. This records to mp3 format, which I can upload to the Tascam via my PC. I find the slowdown facility useful to learn songs for dep gigs, and I use the metronome quite a bit Cheers Andy
2. Well, the DHA one doesn't do 5v, however, my lads PSP mains adapter seems to tick all the boxes. The tip fits but before I flick the switch I thought I'd run it by you folks and see if you can see a potential problem. Here's the Tascam (thanks Steve and here's the psp Watcha reckon?
3. Thanks, you guys, thats a great help. Its just occured to me that I've got a multi adapter that I use with my DHA compressor, I'll have to go and check if that goes down to 5v, and see what the polarity is!
4.
I charge mine from my laptop via usb
yeah, I have to do mine via the PC, but I'm going to be working away from home quite a bit in the coming months, and I dont have a laptop, unfortunately
5. The recommended PS-P520 AC adapter seems a bit pricey to me, I was wondering if any other users out there have found a cheaper alternative? I'd be tempted to try a generic 5v adapter, but I cant find the mA rating in the specs. I have seen a plug that accepts a USB cable that claims to charge mp3 players etc, but I'm a bit sceptical, as one Amazon reviewer said the one he bought exploded!! !! Cheers Andy
6. Nice when a plan comes together!! I'll mark this as Sold
7.
. I still have the original box and foam inserts too!
Ha! same here I've sent Jack a PM, I'll keep you posted! Cheers Andy
8. Hi Rich, I'll have a word with HappyJack (see post #3 above), and see if he's willing to buy the 210 off me if we swap. All being well, we could have a deal Whats the condition like?
9. Thanks, guys, you know a good deal when you see one i'm tempted to keep it, 'cos its so convenient for pub gigs and rehearsals, but in the interests of matrimonial harmony........
You haven't got a Nemesis NSP210 going at the same price, have you Andy?
Jack, if I had a 210, this probably wouldn't be up for sale!!

11. Generic hardcase for bass, made by TGI, used for storage only, hence as new. Plush lining, sturdy locks and hinges, with keys. £20 collected from Swindon.
12. This is the now discontinued top of the range model, which is sort of half way between a bag and a hard case, you know the one, its got very sturdy sides and some sort of stand thing that I've never figured out. Big pockets, but imo let down a bit by fragile zips.No problem if you're careful. I've used it once then I got a new bass with a fitted case, so its been gathering dust. I am now trying to make some space so its up for grabs. If you come to Swindon, you can have it for £20
13. Only used a couple of times while my BFM was being constructed, hence excellent condition. 250w @8ohms, easy one hand lift, (32lbs) and LOUD!! £199 collected from Swindon

20.
Noooooooooooo, nail polish remover is acetone which removes plastics, which in effect ='s the finish on your guitar.
My missus uses acetone free remover, its kinder to your skin, dontcha know! I used it to remove some sticker residue from a cheapo jazz I had, with no ill effect.
21. Try some of your missus' nail polish remover.
