13. Hi guys I'm buying a warwick corvette passive and would like an active circuit, I know the original system is made by mec but don't know where to purchase from and have heard they are expensive, Can anybody recommend a product for me These are my needs 3 pot setup Volume Pickup pan Bass and treble stacked (Push/pull for active passive) if possible, not too fussed And must be able to work with the passive mec 'dynamic correction' pickups Thanks
14. I noticed this when switching from a jaydee to jazz. The jaydee I have to be precise on whereas a jazz I can loosen up a bit more
15. Well see how the search goes would settle for a cheaper corvette or something , looking to purchase at the end of feb , a birthday present to myself hehe
16. Yeah that would be the best bet I guess. What do you reckon to the rockbass stage 1 streamer nt? Seems a good buy at 770 brand new
17. In my jamiroquai phase at the moment and realising how good stuart zender was and I love his sound! I NEED a warwick! Anything like a corvette, steamer or a rockbass the cheaper the better . Something slightly better around the £500 mark would be ideal, What do people think of these basses? The different models and options What's the difference sonically and performance between a passive and active warwick?
18. Really like the worn out and feel and look that way I'd be less precious about it too I guess
19. Thanks guys top info, definately on the wanting list!
20. Just wanted to hear people's opinions really?
21.
S'funny because, to me, most of the songs he plays on sound more 'front p/up' almost 'P-bass' ish?
Same here, love the sound of the bass on 'funktion'
22. Mark king throughout level 42, the early days in the small venues up to wembley 86/7 etc. Paul McCartney in the beatles Stanley clarke throughout his whole career Stuart zender in jamiroquai Marcus miller
23. Great to hear these stories , seen jamiroquai in 2005 sadly not the original lineup! :/
24.
You're going to keep the KB for more than 2 weeks though??? Not going to have car problems and sell it??
LOL.
25. thanks a lot risingsun for the fantastic info... for me im very true to the original lineup of jamiroquai with stu in the band... for me the band made their best music when he was in the band and i love the sound and playing of zender Im a big mark king and stanley clarke fan so i really understand what gear they have used and what they use currently and how they get their sound. So to have found some useful information out about stuart zender has been great, all i knew previously was he used warwick with jamiroquai thanks again dude
