    I was considering a buying some leather for a scratchplate for mine. Then I looked at embossing it - that led to considering buying tools....and learning how to do it.. Easier and cheaper not to bother.

    You don't need to look at eBay...just check the "For sale" threads - As well as my Markbass rig there are Quilters (heads and Bernard's 2x10 cab), the EBS 650 and the Glock rig... Some amazing gear for really good prices. I almost wish I was only just starting to play...

    They also have (barely) damaged stock for sale for ridiculously low prices occasionally. Bodies for £50.... Give more opportunities to novice fork truck drivers I say...
