So... I have a couple of questions , probably for @Quatschmacher but if anyone else knows chip in. Let’s say I have 4 songs to play with the mighty FI within the set. For ease I put the effects into 1,2 & 3 in editor. Songs 1&4 have the same effect. What’s the easiest way to scroll back to effect 1?for reference the effects are running into the effects loop of a helix stomp and then onto amp. I’m not great with making my own patches and have already downloaded a very useable moog for an MJ track. Is there a “superstition “ type patch already in existence?

Is there a thread devoted to the FI for patches ideas and tips (like the helix one) or is it all amalgamated in this one?

I couldn’t ignore you forever 😉 think our posts crossed and it was/is edit. I could still scroll the presets and operate them on the stomp. im not worried about gigs. There’s no song I play where I absolutely need it, I’ll just by pass it. 😂

Weirdly thinking about it, I think it was the software... Once that was reloaded although nothing changed initially it did start to allow the presets to be copied in the editor. Everything was working directly on the box as it should, with the exception of the fs3 reallocation. it’s absolutely fine now... when I plugged it all in the software couldn’t see the device, that’s not unusual as it used to do that on my hxfx, used to take a few attempts to see it sometimes. Anyway I’ll keep an eye it.

It was yes mate but it’s been fine until now. When it arrived it’s all fine. I could copy presets. Load my own. Just weird this evening. I know I don’t like pc editing to much but I don’t think it was user error. Not this time. 😂

Rant warning. Ive spent 5 hours this afternoon/evening trying to sort my stomp. It worked fine at the weekend so I thought I’d play with some more effects. First it wouldn’t reallocate the light from white to any other colour. Then it refused to copy any presets into new blocks in edit. All firmware is up to date. So uninstalled the software. Reinstalled the software. No difference. Checked all the settings. I have fs 3 aligned to true bypass, wasn’t working. Wouldn’t reallocate fs3 back to tuner. Factory reset meant I had to reallocate fs4/5- god bless YouTube. 4 hours in. Plenty of 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 it just sprang back to life. Wtf! 🤷🏻‍♂️

Mine had an additional connecting cable with it (designacable I think, neutrik right angled jack) I’ve just ordered another just to be on the safe side I recall the cable that came with the G50 wasn’t all that good either so I got another made up.

I managed to pick up a used Shure Glxd16, first impressions after 1 gig. I love it. Robust, looks good, love the battery indicator, doesn’t eat AA’s like my G50 and isn’t as bulky. Win win! 😃
