Our guitar player gets all our gigs and the other night at practise i asked when our next gig was. August 11th came the reply, blimey. nothing sooner asked i, no the singer(who is in a duo, doing middle of the road stuff, a bit more money split in half ) is out untill then. saw my a... a bit, ok i'm only in the one band and if i want get out more it looks like i should be in another one, even our drummer is getting another band on the road so gigs might be even rarer, does anyone else have the problem of gigs clashing?

I had the pleasure of playing a bach at the bash on saturday, i think this one belonged to Gazm. i was surprised at the quality of the build and it was really nice to play. for the price i would not hesitate tp recommend one, the bach in this picture (which is kind of stretched and dont do the basses justice) is on the left next to the pbass. Sorry to butt in on this but i can confirm Buxton is abot an hour from manchester, last year me and the mrs decided to go and see Roger macguinn, he of the Byrds, at the Buxton opera house. got some directions off the net and set off early and an hour later we outside Granada studio's in Manchester! much scratching of heads and cursing. i had taken a wrong turn somewhere, oh for a sat nav then. anyway, saw somw signs and an hour we were in the lovely town of Buxton. or to be more precise the pub across thre road.

I asked because a drummer i work with says his bassplayer is probably getting rid of his and i can borrow it to a view to buying, sounds interesting, thanks for the replies.

Ok ignorance alert. i've heard of a sans amp but have never enquired what it does, i have a chance of borrowing one so i'd like to know something about it. i know i could google it but i would like it straight from the horses mouth so to speak . thanks.
