  1. If you edit the original post and add the word “sold” to the title, the thread will automatically lock.
  2. Sax On The Web (SOTW) is a long-established (mainly) saxophone forum. I bought and sold on there for years (but haven’t frequented it much the last five years or so). https://www.saxontheweb.net and yes, it does have a marketplace, though it seems trickier to navigate than it used to be.
  3. There are some preliminary ones here:
  4. I’ve now gone down the route of a custom Shuker build to get a 38.5mm nut width on a P bass.
  5. Well that’s very sad news indeed; I have spent many hours there and bought and sold instruments there over the years. Hope Stuart and his family are ok.
  6. Pretty exciting development. https://oberheim.com

  7. Howarths in London, Woodwind Exchange in Bradford. Windblowers in Nottingham.
  8. Sorry to hear that. I hope it’s a positive decision and one that gives you more time for your other passions.
  9. This is a T-47, but in a smaller box than usual, though not a T-16, which is even smaller and only a single channel. But, yes, Cog stuff is hard to come by now.
  10. Just seen a very cute small-box T-47. Really want one:
  11. These are lush and you can add in an extra five voices via an expansion card. @geofio are you clearing the decks for the OB-X8?
  12. Feel free to come round once I no longer have Covid.
  13. The Deep Animation by Death By Audio seems to do both. There’s one currently for sale here on BC.
  14. @carlitos71has one and @Bo0tsy.
  15. Sweet new pedal that I’ve had the privilege to beta test for the past few months has just launched today: https://www.sourceaudio.net/atlas-compressor.html If you download the latest Neuro Desktop, you can play around with Atlas’ offline editor.
  16. One in stock here: https://www.bonnersmusic.co.uk/products/boss-oc-5-polyphonic-octave-guitar-bass-effects-pedal
  17. Which one? The MF101? Well, yes, 4-pole with a huge amount of resonance and a nice drive. Chromatron is only 2-pole but you can get some juicy sounds from it.
  18. Filters with an FX loop are what’s needed. That way, your dry bass signal can be used to trigger the envelope.
  19. They do get better once played in. They sound way too bright when they first go on. I’m just put a new set on my bass and it’s always a pain for a few weeks waiting for them to dull off.
  20. Yes I do. Yes, C4 can cover all the same sounds, but doesn’t have as many hands-on controls as Spectrum (the latter has direct access to 8 parameters via the knobs whereas the former only has 6).
  21. Not surprised all the MXR ones went so fast, those are some keen prices.
