    I just sold my Sadowsky HPJ to Jan. This involved my travelling with the bass to the Netherlands and his travelling from Belgium to collect it. Communication was great throughout the transaction, payment was made in advance, as agreed and Jan turned up when he said he would. He was even kind enough to bring me his '90s Stingray for me to try. On top of that he's a really nice guy. I wouldn't hesitate to trade with him in the future. Heartily recommended.

    Not that I'm trying to do myself out of a sale but I've seen one on talkbass that is 3.88kg.

    Tbh, I think you'd be hard pushed to get a metro under 4kg. They tend to be a bit heavier than their USA counterparts.

    Thanks, Karl. Good job I'm not in a hurry. It seems like I picked the wrong time to list it as two others came up too. I'd be prepared to bring it to London and a few other destinations if a sale was definite. Pm replied to.

However, I thought that I'd be more likely to find someone to swap with if it had the same fingerboard wood as the one I wanted to acquire; the only difference would be the nut width.

    I'd also consider a Fender American Standard Precision with its own rosewood neck as I could always buy a Jazz neck separately to swap out. As before, in Olympic white.

    The Bob Glaub (44-64) has a optional 38mm nut width (on the Lakland website). There was one for sale on here a few months ago. The Duck Dunn model has blocks and binding on the neck (which I love on Jazz basses but am not as fussed about on Precision basses).
