  2. Just had a session with this bass last night just to make sure…. She is a powerful one ( for a passive) but that skinny neck continues to be an issue. Whosoever ends up with her will be happy that’s for sure!
  3. Bought a Peavey Fury bass from Paul rrecently. Was a lovely experiencecand the gent included a gig bag at no extra cost. Deal with confidence!
  4. Hi everyone I bought this from the lovely PaulS recently on this site. I just cant get on with the slenderness of the neck (think Jazz then shave off another 1 mm) I took it to my tech who did a tweak of the neck (personal taste nothing wrong with the neck) and popped on some new Rotosound 40/60/80/100 strings on it so it's sounding glorious has that precision growl aplenty. Comes with a soft gig bag. Its basically a bargain for a US built bass. Alternatively looking for a trade of a P type bass or similar (hit me up if you have an alternative....but not an Affinity level bass though shes worth a bit more than that..) It's got bumps and marks and the paintwork is not pristine but gives the throaty roar of a pbass for those who like a slender neck. Even has their take on the "micro tilt "neck adjustment of 70's Fender but with 4 bolts not 3. 8lbs/3.6kg 37mm at the nut 19mm spacing at the bridge Thanks for looking any questions fire away Will post at buyers expense but equally available to meet up between London and Norfolk Thanks to PaulS for the use of his original photos as my phone has a rubbish camera
  5. " I think it's especially a great bass for some slapping." Tony Wall seemed to think so too. Amazing bass!
  6. Luke Combs has the same sticker on his 3000 dollar gibson in the "Fast Car" Video...but thats cos hes Country i guess.
  7. Usually i just pack the absolute hell out of it and get the buyer to sort any additional insurance above and beyond what the courier provides. I try to circumvent the need for it by bubble wrap and gig bag and double box( or hardcase) ive only had one issue in 11 years ago and ever since then ive just packed everything within an inch of its life. its served me well till now. but i understand things can happen.
  8. Just Bought a Harley Benton PJ5 string from John. Smooth deal and great comms. Thanks John!
  9. I got my wife to do the whole plus minus weigh the bass thing ( which she found oddly humorous 😀) and tada! it’s…….. 4.4KG or 9.68 lb.
  10. From Soundwave in Romford the birthplace of Trace Elliot!
  11. Unfortunately I can tell you on Saturday as I’ll be home then but it’s not light ….its definitely not Aria SB but also not less than 4.5 kg. I’ll try to get my wife to weigh it using the body plus minus the bass technique to get a quicker idea….
  12. HI there You might get more views if you uploaded JPEG/PNG files instead of HIEC files that cannot be displayed in a conventional browser. Hopefully that helps..

  16. Just to add Patricks a top Geezer to deal with ive dealt with him on two occasions now and hes been a total Gent. Cost of xmas is preventing me taking this.........
  17. No problem Steve. It’s a superficial bash so it’s more of a cracking of the surface than a hole. I certainly don’t notice it when I play which is why I never got it repaired. It hasn’t gotten any worse in the past 10 years that I’ve owned it( it was like that when I purchased it ) But I’m sure a little bit of epoxy would sort it out. See the pic for spacing info. I think it’s 17/18 mm. it’s a £1 tape measure from wilko so allow for that! I came from playing a Precision bass and had no problem adapting
