4.
Thank God for that. I don't need it, but by Hell do I want it . Karl.
hahaha, indeed is a good amp and not surpraise you have the GAS consider the price is steal too lol. I was looking at the Ashdown site the other day and realise the Spyder 550 had been discontinue but the same amp is called the Dual Valve 550 ........... So they discontinue the amp and call it something else but is still the same amp .........
5.
Absolute bloody bargain!!!!!!!!!!! Karl.
Thanks Karl. I needed the $$$ and downsizing my rig so this is going for dirt cheap lol. To me this is one of ashdown best amp head, same valve pre as the 427 and uses the reliable ABM solid state power amp lol.
6. Price drop, this need to go asap. £270 for the head Or £300 for the whole lot. This head is loud, clean and reliable. Different than then Abm head.

8. Price drop and is dead cheap now. £280 for the head or £350 for the whole lot.
9. Free BUMP! This is a bloody bargin ....... if i searching for a small rig i would snap this any day. After going from 2x10 + 1x15 setup to 2x 4x10 i gone back to 2x10 combo + 1x15 for portability. Setup like this usually cover 90% of the gig unless you play in a very very large venue but then you will have PA support, so this rig is well enough to do anything ....... and good price too.
10. Price Drop: £350 for the whole lot or £300 for the amp Bloody great amp and effect. Downsizing my rig to one combo and 1 external cab, so hopefully someone will get this from me

13. Your amps and the cabs will work fine ...... Their are reason people go for 4ohm cab and 8ohm cabs. 4ohm cab can get the most out of your amp (means more watts = more headroom) but you only limited to to use 1 cab and you will have problem when you need more speakers because your amp can't handle 2x 4ohm cabs because this will add up to total of 2ohm. DON'T try this or it will damage your amp. 8ohm cabs means your amp will run around 275watt when using one 8ohm cabs only but it give you a flexiblility to add more speakers later if you need more volume. This means for smaller gig you can use one cab and big gig you can use 2 cabs. People tend to use this setup alot because it give them to flexibility. I know why you so bother about more watts and less watts. To clarify your question, it sounds like you think the more watts = more volume. Watts only give you head room and speakers give you volume. Running one 4x10 4ohm cabs doesn't mean you get more volume than a 8ohm 4x10 cab ........ In fact running two 4x10 8ohm cabs get you more volume than running one 4x10 4ohm cabs. I use to run the two ampeg cab using one little markbass 250 and then i use a ashdown spyder 550. 250watt and 550 watt, do i notice volume different? the answer is no because i play in a recentable volume and right EQ so either amp i get plenty of juice and volume out of it. If you crack it up very loud and push the gain then you need more headroom otherwise your amp will clip, this is where watts comes into play. I can't see why you will clip the amp unless you play in a unrecentable volume or bad EQ setting (i.e keep boosting the bass) .....
14. For the whole lot is £400 or £300 for the amp head only.
15. the price is for the bass amp, multi effect and the flight case. Photo will be follow shortly. also willing to split and sell the amp only if you guys interest in the amp. Just let the you guys know this ashdown is a all valve preamp but use solid state power amp. Uses the same all valve preamp as the ashdown 427 small black and uses the ABM poweramp. Great solid amp but I'm downsizing to using a combo so this good solid amp will look for a new owner.
16. For sale is my Ashdown Spyder 550 bass head and Boss Gx-700 multi effect rack unit. Selling them as a set together, both unit is in near perfect condition and is kept in a stagg 6 unit rack case. I'm from manchester by the way. can PM me if interest.
17. this is marshall's advance valve technolgy guitar amp. Is Valve Preamp and Solid State poweramp that pump out 50watt. This is a very loud combo and you can add an additional cab to the combo to make it a full stack. Comes with foot switch as well. The amp is in my band room and is not being use, so if you interest to buy you can come and try it out in the band room and collection only as well. Price is £150 or if interest we can further discuss.
