Tascam DP01 8 Track digital multi-track

Recommended Posts

[size=2]Hi Everyone,

I'm selling my Tascam DP-01, 8 channel digital multi tracker (from 2005).

Had this about 4 years and bought it as an upgrade for my well loved and used tape portastudio.

I've used it mainly for recording demo's / basic song ideas (which it's ideal for) and recording the band at practices.
I tend to dump the audio files onto my PC after recording sessions. Haven't really used it for a while now.

It's an intuitute and uber simple recorder( just select your channel and press play and record). The user interface is simple without having to scroll through endless screens.

This is the basic model and has two 1/4" jack/TRS inputs (one is a switchable "dedicated" guitar input). the other models in the range have phantom power a cd writer/effects.

You can record two uncompressed (.wav file) tracks simulateously,It has an 40Gb internal hard drive.

Comes with original power supply and some printed instructions (but no original box).

All good working condition,no issues I'm aware of and I've had no problems. TBH, I've really only ever used the most basic features on this recorder.

This is a good unbiased appraisal:-
