  1. Would it be quite easy enough for a competent person (i.e. not me) to do the upgrade if they were to buy this pedal?
  2. Ha ha. I wouldn’t know how. Seriously, I wouldn’t 😬
  3. A couple of months ago I was asked to dep for an 80's hair metal band for a couple of gigs. They do the wigs, tattoo's, pointy guitars - the whole shebang. I happened top see this pop on this very forum at the same time (courtesy of @Bearfist) and thought it would fit the gigs perfectly - and it did. This build would cost well over £2k if ordered today. It's a cracking bass, but something has come up that needs funding, so I need to let a few things go. It was just over a year old when I bought it at the end of October 2019. It's in Sandberg's Hard Core Aged finish, so it does have marks, but they were put there by Sandberg 😀 Ebony fretboard with blocks, maple neck, matching headstock, zero fret, split coil neck pickup and MM style humbucker at the bridge position. 2 band eq with push pull active/passive (treble knob becomes passive tone control) Aged black hardware which is not available in the Sandberg configurator for this model any more, so therefore unusual. Weight 9.24lb's and it is the 34" scale, NOT the 35". Comes with a Sandberg gig bag.
  4. For sale only - no trades thank you. Future Impact Bass Synthesizer Pedal complete with box and instructions. Barely used. Same old story - a bass has come up which is on my 'wish list' and things that are not bolted down are getting the for sale treatment. I also don't have the technical know how to get anywhere near the best out of this pedal. Apparently it does a thing called MIDI. Pfft. May as well be in Swahili AFAIC 😂 Hopefully this will find an owner who may be able to do it justice. Does has a couple of patches 3M pedal board stickies on the back. I will ship with corresponding patches for attachment. EDIT: Price includes secure shipping within the UK ONLY.
  5. Kate and her band attacking the title track from her album 'Trophy'. I think that J knows it's been played after that session!
  6. Here’s one from Nice taken earlier this year....
  7. Another one from the HRH Tenerife. Tim Skold’s double bass. Nice paint job.
  8. Looks like Wembley ‘86 might be a goer. I shall report back in due course.
  9. Mrs.HKH and I are staying at the Hard Rock Hotel in Tenerife at the moment and as a regular visitor to Hard Rock establishments, I’m always drawn towards the basses on display. I thought it might be a nice idea to share the basses in cafes/hotels worldwide and what might be known about them. I’ll start with this one which is the first instrument I saw whilst checking in today which is in the main lobby at the HRH Tenerife.
  10. There is currently a bass in the Marketplace that I am tempted by, so would be prepared to accept sensible offers on this whilst that bass is still available.
  11. Great idea Chris. About six months too late, but a great idea. I’ll tell you what, ignoring for one moment all the time, effort, cost of fuel, rescheduling of other band and family commitments etc etc that I’ve personally put in for this event (which is the thirteenth by the way), I will match any donation you care to make. Let’s set the cap at the price of the Deacon P bass I had built. Let’s call it a round £1000 shall we?
  12. So, The Last Resort gig happened last night and we had a blast. The Deacon P sounded fab - not just my opinion, the sound guys thought so too 😀. I'm not quite sure how many thousands we raised. I think they're still counting. Hard to choose a favourite from the 6 songs we played, but this one does have a certain grin factor to it.
  13. Yes, certainly did the job 👍
  14. Thanks Paul. Good to know all the hard work paid off. Really weird start to the Queen set. Apparently there were no monitors switched on which is why no one apart from me was aware that the keys had started playing 🙄. Other than that, I thought we smashed it 🤘
  15. OMFG! What a gig! I will post video and photo’s in due course, but what an amazing night.
  16. I’ve just been informed that The Last Resort has now raised in excess of £30,000 for charity over the years it has been going. I have to say I’m feeling incredibly proud of what we have achieved.
  17. Many. The focus effect was applied in editing as a bit of a giggle. The original doesn’t have it 😀
