1. Hi folks, My RA150 has just crapped out on me - I wasn't driving it remotely hard, but all of a sudden the output completely cut out. The mains light remained on, but power cycling it hasn't done anything. There's usually a click from an internal relay after a couple of seconds when it powers up but it no longer does it. Any ideas? This is my second (and probably now my last) Alesis amp. The last one failed with a dead channel.
 2. People should mention this to their guitarists too - these are proper valve preamps, not the nasty op-amp and diode clipped rubbish that is the V-Twin. God knows why they go for +£300, these boxes are way better sounding.

 8. Thanks for all the kind words, PM's, offers and trades - unfortunately, I need the space so no trades. I'm happy to ship at the buyer's expense of course.
 9. Now that is an absolute bargain for a great instrument.
 10. Wow - that seems like a lot of guitar for the cash. Presumably, these are made out in the far East or something?

 12. You guys should check out Stanton Moore, the most naturally gifted drummer I've ever seen.

http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=56633
Yeah, it's actually for a mate of mine. Bit beyond his budget though unfortunately. Good luck with the sale!
 15.
I'm no luthier, but an extra £70 because (and this is down to real basic deduction, please tell me otherwise) it's a rosewood fingerboard as opposed to maple??
It's usually the other way around - maple necks tend to be lacquered and need the fingerboard refinishing after a refret.

 17. Paypal will eventually refund you the full amount, although you might have to pay for the return if you're successful in your claim. THe other way to do it is to just call your credit card company and get them to stop the payment. THat tends to get Paypal's attention. Sadly, I've heard of Sheldonamps before as an ebay seller: http://www.brasswind.org/330.htm Good luck.
