1. Have a bump - that Tele is a friggin' steal (I have one, they're superb). In fact, I'm wondering whether I can justify another one as a back up...
2. Unfortunately withdrawn due to it going into storage for a month while I get my house plastered.
3. It's from the late 70's/early 80's and is a replica of a 70's CBS-era Strat. It's not completely accurate however, dimensionally is perfect but it has an 11-screw pickguard, a 3 way switch (although you can easily get those inbetween tones by careful placing of the switch) and a four-bolt neck joint. It's in stunning condition for it's age, it comes with the original soft case and tool bag, as well as the ashtray bridge cover. It got quite a lot of use and I'd worn the frets down, so it's just come back from a beautiful refret job by Matt Ryan based in Manchester. The frets are done so well, you couldn't tell they weren't as new, and the neck is one of the most comfortable I've ever played. Soundwise, it's wonderful - really nice pingy and percussive Strat. Certainly up there with pretty much every Strat I've owned in the past. Anyway - for sale at £400 due to it's condition and the brand new frets, and I'll potentially be interested in trades for any decent Japanese guitars (e.g. Yamaha, Fender Tele/Jag/Jazzmaster, Greco Tele, Burny LP, Edwards LP) or quality valve amps with cash adjustment where necessary.
4. +1 here - bought Andy's Ashdown 5/15 from him and all was perfect. Nice bloke too!
5. PM'd back. I'm in West Oxfordshire.
6. I really want that and I've not a clue why!
7. PM'd.
8. For sale for £100 collected or £110 shipped UK mainland. For me, this is the closest I've got to an authentic 60's Celestion Blue sound. Not as clangy or bright as a Celestion Blue, and with a higher wattage capability it's more versatile. It's immaculate other than solder on the terminals but I can provide pics if anyone wants them.
9. Classic model which fits Gibson + Epi Les Paul's, SG's, Flying V's, E335's etc. etc. £120 collected from Oxfordshire or can post.
10. That's is truly gorgeous - I'm going to be ordering something kinda similar from Warmoth over the next 12 months, and it that had stainless frets installed it would already be mine! Good luck with the sale!
11. Due to me falling head over heels in love with my recently acquired Warmoth Tele, I need to raise some funds for an equivalent Strat with the same woods, so my Ibanez has to go. It's great fun, in excellent condition and plays really nicely. No fretwear to speak of and all stock. Specs: http://www.ibanez.com/HollowBodyGuitars/model-AFS75T Looking for £225 - I'm based in West Oxfordshire. I'd rather not post it as it'll be a bit of a pig to pack up, but I'm happy to meet somewhere convenient.
12. Put in in a sealed bin bag with a bowl of vinegar. Leave it for a couple of days and the smoke smell will go, although it'll smell of vinegar a bit - leave it unsealed (maybe outside on a dry day) for a few hours and it'll be fine. I did this to a Cornell guitar amp and it worked a treat.
13. Last ever price drop - now only £675. Can't believe this hasn't sold yet.
14.
PM'ed god dammit
Sorry about that. ;-) Sold pending the usual.
15.
Very tempting.
Does £125 shipped make it more so?
16. Bump for trade options.
17. Excellent condition with only a few very minor marks. I'm based in West Oxfordshire but can ship if necessary. Cheapest I've found online is £200, looking for £125. Here's Voodoo Lab's description: The Voodoo Lab Amp Selector is the ultimate stand-alone tool for switching your guitar into multiple amplifiers. It lets you use up to four amps simultaneously without added hum or loss of tone. You can switch between or layer amps in any combination. The switching is absolutely silent with no clicks or pops. The Amp Selector fulfills several indispensable real world applications for guitarists. Each of the outputs can be directly switched, allowing you to layer any combination of amps simultaneously. It can also be configured as an A/B/C/D box for selecting between up to four amplifiers with a single button press. The Amp Selector features a buffered tuner or split output for slaving additional devices without loading down your pickups or muddying your tone. A second input can be used for a stereo signal path, or to switch two instruments into different pairs of amplifiers.
18. Ah, yes I've seen that a few times - very nice too! Anyway - EL84 model now sold. 6V6 model now only £700.
19.
Nice! I'm enjoying the Cornell valve bass head at the mo.
Thanks - there can't be many Cornell bass heads around, care to share some pics?
