1.
Now, you don't see one of these every day. Very nice, Dodge.
Thanks! It's a beauty. Someone will be very happy with it. A friend of mine who's a complete Gibson fanboy grudgingly admitted the SA700 was a better guitar than his USA 335. They are THAT good.
 2. For sale is one of the famed Yamaha SA700's. Very good condition considering it's age - it's got a few dinks around the headstock edge (pictured) but nothing major or structural. Very little fretwear and all original. Superb tone - it's easily an equal to a Gibson 335 (I kid you not - I've owned several) and Yamaha's build quality is legendary. Comes with a soft gig bag. £650 collected from Oxfordshire. I do travel a bit, so meeting up somewhere convenient is possible, plus I will ship if necessary (although a personal handover is always preferable).
 3.
Pics over the w/end. Fret size is the standard fender I believe. Medium jumbo or whatever crazy nos they give them at Warmoth.
Stainless or nickel silver? (Will say 'SS' on the heel if it's stainless)
 4. Pics please - and details on the fret size.
 5.
Why hasn't someone snapped this up? I don't go for gloss necks or I'd have had it.....
+1. I've got one and I love it.
 6.
$340 + shipping to the UK at around $60-$70 and then add VAT at 20%, so the total cost new would be in the region of £300-£320 landed.
Not forgetting VAT is paid on the total bill including shipping, plus you've got duty on the part too (I think it's 3% for musical instruments).
 7.
Sure, we can always talk about taking the bass apart... if there's some interest of course.
If you get any takers for the other parts, I may be interested in just the neck.
 8.
That was white jazz if I remember correctly. Very nic bass too. Seems Warmoths are not the stuff people want...
You might get more joy selling it as parts. One man's 'dream bass' isn't necessarily everyone elses. Me, I love it!
 9.
I know this might be a problem. But if you're suspicious, you can always check my feedback here.
Not suspicious at all, I just wouldn't part with that sort of cash on something without trying it first!
 10. That is gorgeous. I'd love to try it - shame you're not in the UK.

 14. That's just the cutest thing - if I had a spare £160 kicking about, I'd be knocking your door down. I'm only just down the road in Leafield too.

 16. I just bought the CV Tele above from Chris - top notch fella, great comms and fast shipping. Cheers mate!
 17. Awesome basses, and if you do ever decide to part with it I'm interested! As for price, I've seen these go in the USA for less than £300 which is a steal, over here I suspect you'd be looking around £400-500. Prices are going up and I suspect will continue as people realise how good these are.
 18. I've had 4, three Streamers and a Fortress. For me, the 91 Streamer was the most complete and beautiful bass I've owned. Sadly, the truss rod nut thread got stripped on my 87 and my luthier discovered it was made of aluminium (seriously) - it's a suprise it lasted as long as it did. He also showed me another broken truss rod from a Corvette when I collected it, the truss rod was only around 3 mm diameter. The truss rod replacement cost me nearly £300 and left a sour taste in my mouth. With that niggling doubt in the back of my mind, I sold them all.
