1. happy to hear that. I know Mosonmagyaróvár, I´ve been there last summer
2. I have various pedals at the moment: -my main dirt pedal (for moderate distortion) is Aguilar Agro -Wooly Mammoth clone - huge sound in sub harmonies even with less gain -ProCo Turbo RAT - for sound simmilar to chainsaw in madmans hands on my wishlist are now some other pedals - COG Knightfall, maybe next Agro so I can have two different settings, maybe VT bass ... many flavours of dirt are something that I really dig and I like to try as much as possible.
3. I also own SVT VR and I love it. It just sounds great and it sits in a band sound like nothing else. I use it with ampeg 8x10 of course, this combination is just killer. yes, distorted sound is on such volume, that changes your heart rhytm, but I prefer to use various Dists/OD pedals rather than crank the VR. I tried friends GK on last rehearsal and its tone was some kind clearer, but the overal sound of the band wasnt that huge like with SVT VR.
4. Friend of mine built for me custom instrument selector. My Stuart Spector Euro LX5 has very hot output, way hotter than my passive Fender Jazz Bass, so I wanted something that can adjust the volumes and I wanted to have it a bit fancy (pots with light etc.). https://plus.google.com/photos/104146856705988679512/albums/5823559421929540209?banner=pwa&authkey=COXTnOaTp_C86QE
5. very nice and complex board! how is your power sourcing designed?
6. I would vote for Aguilar Agro. Very underrated piece of kit, great sounding from less distorted sounds to chainsaw. I have also Turbo Rat, but I use it for bigger distortion than Agro.

Timo

Timo sold me 3 Leaf Audio GR1. Very smooth and fast deal. Thanks again for shipping outside UK.
8. I´ve been searching information about various true bypass loopers and I also found few very cheap programmable loopers (actualy cheaper than most of non-programmable tb loopers). Thomann sells Harley Benton FXL8 (http://www.thomann.de/gb/harley_benton_fxl8.htm) and this looper can be found also under brands Wave-X or Vitoos. I am not very big fan of HB staff and I prefer to pay more and get quality for my money, but I was just curious if someone does not have personal experience with this loopers.
9.
January 2013 incarnation of my board. Need to run the wires underneath, will do so once I am happy with the layout for sure.
this is pretty cool board! I realy like your choice of dirts.

13. no need to say thanks. to be honest, your page decreases my productivity at work faster than anything others
14. I use Line6 lowdown Studio 110. It´s bit more powerful (75w) but it is quite decent amp for bedroom and also for small practice room with quiet band. I got it used and it was cheaper than new Ampeg BA108. I am not very big fan of 8´ speakers, It just sounds too thin to me even for quiet practicing, but it is just my taste. if you need to practice while your son sleeping, I would also ho with some kind of pandora or Vox amplug and headhones (or Apple device with pocketGK app).
15. it started like this than it got like this now tomorrow? ...SYB 5 is going back to previous owner because he can´t live without it so i have to buy it elsewhere ...FX25B is going away next week ...line6 m9 + expression is going to classifieds (I just dont have patience to work with it properly) ...Pro Co Rat with LM chip is on the way to me ...I "need" new envelope filter ...I´m affraid that I will need new octaver and some chorus and flange...and I am afraid that I will also need Darkglass B3K. bloody GAS
16. your web is just insanely cool. I read all articles in Signal Chain Bassics, now I read Interviews and it is so much inspiration to see what are those players using, HOW are they getting their ideas through effects out. great work! to be honest, I wasn´t very much into effects at all, but when I look back, it all started for me when I saw Doug Wimbish with Living Colour, and then again, also with Junglefunk and HeadFake. Than Justin Chancelor, than Juan and now I´m reading your great articles and think about music and effects different. great great inspiration.
17.
'Carpet for Dogs' - That NEEDS to be a band name!
well my english is not that good
18. well, I was worried with the same problem. I took some of my velcro, went to Baumax and than to Ikea. I tried to attach it to every carpet there and than something happened - 1 euro carpet for dogs solved my problem
19. what exact model is this please? I am not sure if there is any model with block inlays, 60 pickup position and strings through body. (and fot 550 pounds). mexican classic series have different pickup position and no strings through body. japanese have 60 pickup position and block but still no strings through body.
